Or at least in most stories, each of them is considered rather evil creatures, children of Darkness. But there are stories where even messengers of Light, beings who should deal better with temptation than we, weak humans, sometimes succumb to the power of the Darkness. There are also times when the children of the Darkness discover such feelings as love, which in turn draws them to the Light. Many times the being from Light connects with the one from Darkness, creating a beautiful, but always very sad and desperate love story - because in most cases neither Light nor Darkness want their representatives to mix with each other.

she begged, I could imagine the puppy dog look on her face right now. Liam was giving me a quizzical expression so I put my hand over the mouthpiece and whispered, “Dawn of the Dead.” He widened his eyes slightly before giving me his smirk. “Don’t worry, Angel, I’ll protect you,” he whispered confidently, making me smile. “Amby, please?” Kate begged again. “Oh jeez alright fine, bring that damn movie,” I muttered, defeated.

The man who has snatched the light from my life, it feels like he is here or maybe I am so paranoid that my mind creates an illusion. He always makes me feel that he is not present but I know he is present in the darkness of the house. He owns it, darkness is his slave and he conquers everything with it. I entered the room and quickly switched on the lights. I can hear my own heartbeats as I gulped in fear and my hands started shaking making the water in my bottle tremble with the movements. Never in my life have I thought that I'll be this terrified to enter my own room. It feels tragic.

We would not throw away our last ounce of dignity for a sliver of pity disguised as guilt. I rushed into the forest and found the herbs that contained the antidote before feeding them to Noah. Fortunately, the dose was quite small. The medicine worked quickly, and Noah regained his strength. Silas had signed my application to leave the pack, and Alexander signed the agreement terminating our mate bond. There was nothing left to hold us back. I shifted into my wolf and let Noah climb onto my back. Then, I bolted away like a streak of silver lightning and raced out of the Red Falls Pack's territory.

And then— Darkness.

Metal crunched. Then—darkness. ---

He flailed helplessly, sinking into the black abyss. Down… down… into a darkness with no end.

Darkness. Everything went black.
