There is just something about the dark that is so scary. I might be a werewolf but those ghost stories do scare the hell out of me. I kept imagining seeing things as we walked through the forest. A tree that looked like a giant person, a short person with a big head and no eyes. ‘Ahhhhh, what in the world is wrong with you? You are supposed to be the strongest, bravest she-wolf but here you are being afraid of ghosts,' my wolf said and I chuckled. I did that to wake her up, she had been too quiet for my liking.

It's a sight no man or monster can forget. I keep thinking about the fragile girl who lured the wolf into the woods to kill it. Sometimes I feel like the whole act was nothing but a play of my father's imagination - he created his own version of the Red Riding Hood. One that would kill any wolf in her way for his own good. My mind almost stops when I hear someone call my name. I look up and notice everyone staring at me.

Alex pushed through his lethargy, and with each step he took to the room door, he kept on thinking if he’d been doing the right thing, heading out in the woods. It wasn’t because he was afraid of being ganged up and beaten by the other big bad wolves who envied the amount of power he had, on the contrary, he was only scared of dying, with his body left for the vultures to feed on.

After the meeting, he met me in the woods behind the pack territory and forced me down. I tried all in my power to resist him and succeeded. Within the twinkling of an eye, he shifted into his wolf and held me against a tree. I was trapped and scared shit out of my wits. His wolf was way bigger and more fearless than mine but not even half the size of yours. It growled at me and almost sunk it's fangs into my neck as I cowered in fear.

Then, with a surge of adrenaline, I too morphed into my wolf form. My paws pounded the earth as I dashed forward, a streak of silver under the moonlight. The Dark Woods loomed ahead, an ominous kingdom of shadows and secrets that held both our destinies and doom. I could hear Boris and Weldon ahead, their heavy breaths echoing through the dense forest. Boris had chosen strength, barreling through the forest with reckless abandon, snapping branches under his massive form as he went. Weldon, on the other hand, had chosen strategy, using his keen senses to detect and avoid traps as he darted along the shadowy paths barely used by our pack.

I whisper hoarsely, my voice barely a breath against the overwhelming silence. The forest seems to close in on me, the once-comforting darkness now a suffocating void. I look up, hoping to see the familiar faces of my family, but instead, a low, menacing growl emerges from the depths of the woods. My heart pounds in my chest as a figure begins to materialize through the gloom. A large, black wolf steps into view, its eyes glowing a haunting blue. Its coat is sleek and glossy, a stark contrast against the dark backdrop of the woods. A white diamond-shaped tattoo gleams on its forehead, catching the faint light and casting eerie shadows.

But his gaze is boring into me now with intense anticipation, like he’s waiting for me to say more. “It was two weeks ago,” I continue. “One night, I wandered into the woods and saw… wolves. Four huge wolves. They were big, Shane—like, really big.” His gaze doesn't leave me, and I catch a dark glint in his eyes. “You saw this two weeks ago?” I nod. There's recognition in his eyes, almost like he believes it was totally possible for huge wolves to have been in the woods two weeks ago. Emily’s POV: It was getting dark as the sun was about to set while I walked deep into the woods. I was in search of something. I looked around the tall trees which looked scary and mysterious as if they were hiding some secrets. I walked ahead and saw some large bushes on the side which moved as a squirrel passed through them making me quiver. I took a step back gulping and then continued to walk forward while looking around for something. I couldn’t figure out what I was looking for but my heart was beating faster and I could feel it was something dangerous yet, I still continued to walk forward deeper and deeper into the dark woods when suddenly I heard a howl behind me and I turned around
