He was dressed in a perfectly tailored Italian suit, one I instantly recognized as a high-end designer brand that catered only to a select few. The fabric clung to a body that was hard, sculpted, and painfully tempting, every line of muscle hinted beneath the fine cloth.

The metal man’s fist contacted the top part of the robotic suit’s hyper-alloy helmet. Mark had to get 2Pac off of him and he knew if the robot punched him in the face, he would break every bone in his jaw.

Silent: I watch with crossed arms as the infamous Dr. Kolohe Cho uses her technological power to complete the suit of armor. “The Iron Fist armor is nearly ready,” Dr. Cho says while looking at a metal claw. Her eyes and head glowing a blueish-green color, the claw starts to turn by itself. It grabs a massive iron hand and screws it into the wrist of the armor. Dr. Cho thanks the claw machine while it spins around.

He unzipped it, revealing stacks of what looked like black fabric. "And one more thing," he said, pulling out a tactical vest and a pair of trousers. "I know the toll the transformations take on your equipment. It’s hard to lead a revolution when you’re constantly scavenging for clothes." I ran my fingers over the material. It felt cool, like silk, but as soon as I applied pressure, it firmed up, resisting my touch. "When your bone structure expands during a shift, the suit expands with you. It won't shred; it becomes a second skin that retracts perfectly when you return to human form."

"I hoped I would never have to open it. But I built it for you." He turned to his son. "Alex," Jackson pointed to a suit. "You are the leader now." Alex walked up to a mannequin. The suit was sleek, black, woven with optic fibers. It had a built-in neural link for hacking on the fly. "This is..." Alex touched the fabric. "Polymer mesh. Bulletproof. And it syncs with your glasses," Jackson said. Next, Jackson turned to Mia. "My fighter." He handed her a pair of collapsed batons made of dark metal. "Vibranium alloy. Shock absorption. And the boots have magnetic soles for climbing."

The tussle continued for a while and then I realized just how much of a trouble killing these people was going to be. Whatever they had around their body, it was like some sort of space suit—one that it was almost totally impossible to break through. I growled in anger and frustration, trying to find a weak point in the suit. He fought back thoroughly, struggling to nudge me off. I roared as I tore through the helmet.
