The screen was dark, but as I touched the glass, the interface initialized instantly, its front-facing camera capturing the contours of my face to unlock the display.
The presentation app was open, showing the high-definition digital face charts and the three-hundred-word artistic statements that were supposed to stream directly to the massive LED wall behind my models. But at the bottom right corner of the screen, completely invisible to anyone who didn't know exactly what to look for, a tiny, microscopic red pixel was blinking in a slow, rhythmic cadence.
