Is Only Murders In The Building Based On A Book Novels & Stories

I go the book I am currently reading, it is murder mystery/ thriller, titled ‘As good as dead’ and it is very interesting and intriguing. It was about a girl about to go to college, she is Blake’s age and she had spent the past two years solving murder cases and now she is clearly traumatized since in the last book, she had a guy die in her arms. I am not far in, I just started it on the plane and I have had much time to finish the book.

“I am alright. What are you doing here?” “Well I think I should be asking you that or something. You see we got an anonymous tip that a woman that stole a baby has just been killed in this building. That is why we are here, to cover the story.” “What?” I do not know exactly when the words leave my mouth as I am rooted to the spot in shock. What the hell is this? No no It can not be, could she be referring to Ingrid’s death here. I turn to Scot and he is clearly as confused as I am. If another person had died in the building we sure as hell would know about it so that can only mean one thing. She is talking about Ingrid.
