*Zombie* I bolt out of the old school like a bat out of hell, the door slamming behind me with a thud that echoes in the stillness of the night. My heart pounds in my chest, each beat a frantic reminder of the chaos I just left behind. I can still hear Amber’s voice, the confusion and fear lacing her words as I sprint down the hallway, a wild frenzy coursing through my veins. Adis. The name reverberates in my mind like a drum, but it can’t be true. Adis is dead. He’s gone. I’m Zombie.

It was surrounded by those 'walkers', stumbling around like they were in a trance. "What are they?" He breathed out, staring in disbelief. He chugged some water, letting out a sigh of hydrated relief. "They call them walkers." She pointed the screen down slightly to allow him to see easier and switched to the website she was reading. "There's information on them, finally." As Adam read, she watched his expression change from confused to terrified. "This is like an actual zombie movie." He spluttered, barely able to get his words out. Behind them, a stirring caught their attention.

Naoko's hair reflexively stood on its end when she recalled about how the original soul had died a slow and agonising death because of this mushroom. Naoko, who had better natural resistance, reacted as soon as she realised what Aimi intended to do. However, with the slight delay in her response, it was still too late. "So are we going in my car or walking? " I asked Ayan as we reached our office parking. "We are not going to walk" he said searching for something in his pocket. "Do you have any flying carpet like Aladdin or Doraemon's helicopter in your pocket " I raised an eyebrow at him. "you watch cartoons a lot " he smirked .a cute smirk.

Emma said. “Hi Andrea, you’re welcome to Blood moon pack.” A cute boy spoke, and I blushed more. “T…thanks.” I managed to say. Pathetic. “Alright let’s eat, I’m hungry.” Any rubbed her tummy with a frown and everyone laughed. “You’re always hungry, Amy, I wonder what’s in that tummy of yours.” Another boy added and Amy threw a piece of meat at him. “I’m a werewolf, Tyson and a werewolf eat a lot.” Amy growled.

I’ve never been in a situation where I had to take on this many vampires at once. Actually, I've never taken on a vampire before killing Amir. Not only that, but Drake still doesn’t seem to understand that as a Guardian and his mate, it’s my job to protect him. I may not have fought against vampires before, I may not have battled against a foe without a pack or other Guardians there to assist me, but I am a Guardian. I guess it’s time for me to stretch my wings and see what I’m really capable of. I just need to figure out quickly how to kill these vampires.

The assassin who learned the art of Tai might still be among us for all I know, thanks to General Kyle.” Ryu’s voice deepened.

Her intention to get attention away from her brother was clear. "You are a new friend and these two have never known an enemy." Amy turned and smiled at Zenya with appreciation. Zenya glanced up. Gold cat eyes filled with trust and love looked back at the vampire. Emily was amazed. Zenya turned back to the babies and joined in the impromptu ball game. The pups scampered and fought each other over the right to push the ball back to the two women. Laughter and small growls rang throughout the room and Amy joined in.

*Boom* Aiden didn’t stop to rest after completing only a third of his task. There were still two more zombies he had to take care of. He gently tapped the ground and stepped aside, avoiding the attack of the very same zombie that had tried a sneak attack on him only a few moments earlier. Aiden realised from this encounter that unlike the other two that preferred direct confrontations, this zombie was an assassin. It was likely an assassin before it died, and upon becoming a zombie it retained its fighting techniques which was why it always hid in the shadows to attack him. *Whoosh*

The little girl and the silly zombie sweet world couldn't be destroyed at all by a mere passerby who disrupt their sweet scene at the beginning of their first meeting.
