Aisha’s smirk falters, “you wouldn’t dare.” “You want to try me?” Isla asks. “Then go ahead. I’d love to watch you explain why you jumped a first year who’s already on the Games list.” For a moment Aisha looks like she might try something. Then her jaw twitches and she snaps her fingers at her group. “Whatever. This isn’t over, human.” She shoves past me harder than necessary and stalks off with the others behind her. Isla exhales, her shoulders dropping. Then she looks at me.

“Wait—yeah. Why aren’t you dressed yet?” Ava lowered her phone slowly, eyes narrowing. “Don’t tell me you’re going to the beach in that.” I looked down at myself — plain white shirt, loose shorts, and hair still a little messy. “What’s wrong with this? It’s comfortable.” Three pairs of eyes widened in synchronized horror. “Tasia,” Phoenix said, voice flat, “you look like you’re about to do a movie marathon alone in your room. There’s no way you’re stepping outside looking like that — with puffy eyes and dark circles that are practically screaming for help.”

She slides off him with a soft popping sound. “The Phoenix knows some tricks. I hope you don’t mind…” Ash just shakes his head, making her smirk, “Good, tell me when you’re close.” He nods again and she dives back down, sliding all the way down. He hears Kai sigh, but doesn’t pay him any attention. He groans and then jerks a little as he feels her tongue flick at his balls while she’s still on him.

Phoenix growled through her teeth, her face ashen, "I've had enough of him keeping an eye on me 24/7! I'm a prodigy of Cloudnine Sect, and I won't keep suffering like this!" With that, she strode up and took Frank's hand. "I understand now, Mr. Lawrence! Just give me time—I'll personally cut ties with Josh!" "What?!"
