The expansive property was adorned with lush gardens, and the sound of waves crashing against the shore filled the air. “Wow,” Isla breathed, her eyes wide with wonder. “This place is incredible!” Maria smiled, clearly pleased with Isla’s reaction. “I told you! It’s beautiful, isn’t it?” As they stepped out of the car, Isla took in the view of the beach house. The golden sand stretched out before them, and the ocean sparkled under the sun. For a moment, she felt a pang of longing, recalling that all of this must be nothing for her mate, Liam, who was one of the richest men in the world. But for her, this was a big deal—a glimpse into a life of luxury that she had never experienced before.

But, unfortunately the car stopped. The driver climbed out of the car and moved towards me. I didn't move. I couldn't at that point. I just wanted to die. Then, I felt arms wrap around me. “It’s me, Isa,” a voice said. It was deep, gentle. “It’s Elias. ” Elias was Amara's fiancé. He had always been kind to me, treating me like his little sister. He was soaked because of the rain, his shirt sticking to his skin.

Isabella. Standing right beside him. Again. Laughing at something he had said. Again. Looking completely at home beside her husband. Again. Amara's chest tightened. She forced herself to walk toward them. The closer she got, the more uncomfortable she felt. Because Adrian looked relaxed around Isabella. Far more relaxed than he ever looked around her. "Good evening," Amara greeted politely. Several people smiled. A few nodded. Adrian glanced at her briefly. "You're here." Those two words should not have hurt.

Mara blinked. After all the darkness it hurt. Then she stepped out. And stopped. There was no lonely coast before them. No remote beach. It's a small industrial port. Container. Cranes. An investor. Several vans. In the background a city. Grey sky. Kirchturm. Trams. Bremen Mara couldn't speak. She was already there. Not somewhere on the North Sea. Not far away. Bremen. All the time. The island was apparently only a few kilometers off the coast.

“Mommy, look! The water’s blue like candy!” I smiled, brushing a strand of hair away from her face. “Bluer than candy, sweetheart.” Sebastian came up behind us, his hand resting lightly at my back as he looked out over the horizon. “Welcome to Isla Aurea,” he said softly. “No signal. No noise. Just peace.” “Peace sounds… perfect,” I murmured, eyes tracing the curve of the shoreline. The yacht anchored just off the beach, and within minutes, a small boat carried us ashore. The sand was warm beneath my feet, soft and powdery. Amara immediately started running in uneven circles, her laughter echoing over the sound of the waves.

Amara said sweetly. "Amara, you know how much Daddy loves you, right?" Amara nodded. "I want you to know that... you are the best blessings for all of us. You are my life and you are the reason why I'm living every day of it. And I am willing to do anything just to protect you from any harm and pain." Isabella wiped the tears that were falling from her eyes. She watched how Nerissa and Mateo hugged Amara, they're really look like a complete happy family.

Elex nudged her arm. "I'm not being insensitive, do you even know what that means?" Dove yelled back. Elex tried to block Dove's voice by placing his hands on his ear, but it didn't work,' sheesh! However, there were complaints about not seeing the creature in this place. Hence this beach has lost its popularity, and now it merely serves as a fishing port anymore.

Aracely asked with confusion laced over her features “What are you doing here?” Aramide let a few tears fall down her cheeks before she walked closer to Aracely and took her hands in hers, she ran her hands over her daughter’s and looked at her in admiration, her eyes filled with tears but this time it was tears of joy, her bottom lip wobbled and she locked eyes with Aracely. “Not Ariel, it’s Aramide, your mom” aramide cried as she showed her the amulet on her neck, the half stone that she had gifted her ten years ago

Finally, it was a time to relax, but Celine felt everything but relaxation. Celine chose Ponza Island, a small island in Italy. She hoped for some quiet time for reflection since she read reviews somewhere that this small island is perfect for people who want some solitude and to enjoy nature. They were not wrong. Beautiful beach, crystal clear seawater, cute stores here and there. But there was nowhere she could indulge in her favorite hobby—shopping. Worse yet, most stores didn’t accept credit cards. Cash Only. Oh, two words that shouldn’t belong together.
