Mount Hazeaf was a core region of the Hazeaf Universe. It was an incredibly vast mountain range with countless spiritual mountains spanning three million light-years. James looked at the towering mountains ahead and could sense abundant energy coming from them. He exclaimed, “What a wonderful place. As expected of the best district, this mountain range alone is stronger than the Aeternus District.”

The water is so blue it looks like a glitch in the rendering software. But it’s real. The sand between my toes is real. The humidity that makes my hair frizz and my skin sheen with sweat is real. We are on an island that doesn't appear on most maps. A private speck of paradise in the South Pacific, bought and paid for by the ghost of Evelyn Voss. Our bungalow sits on stilts over the lagoon. It has no walls, just smart-glass panels that slide open to the breeze.

I furrowed my brows in confusion as there was no island or any landmass that I could see. Just as I was about to ask a question, the sun rose just over the horizon and a brilliant flash of gold erupted over the entire skyline, momentarily blinding me. When my vision cleared of the golden haze I gasped in surprise as a massive island appeared out of nowhere. It was huge and there were hundreds of dragons in the air and on the highest mountain peak was a beautiful stone structure, carved out of the mountainside itself, the brilliantly coloured rocks looking like magic.

Three days later, in Jitterblock Island, Glacia… Jitterblock Island was the largest island in Glacia, situated in the southwest sea, boasting a pleasant climate and a thriving tourism industry. Many foreign friends often held weddings here, dubbing it the 'Glacia Paradise'. Jitterblock Island was also known by another name, which was Tarot Island. "Before her death, Jenny left behind a diary with something peculiar: Tarot Hoffman," muttered a young and beautiful girl with a camera in hand as she captured the surrounding scenery.

She groaned, then stirred awake, sitting up slowly. The boat slowed as the boatman moored the vessel against a weathered wooden wharf. Araheen rubbed her eyes, squinting through the mist. “I don’t see an island,” she murmured. But as soon as the words left her lips, an outline took shape ahead—shores, dark trees rising like shadows. Both she and Hedda gasped. “This is why it is called the Blinking Island,” the boatman said. “Step ashore. I must leave quickly.”

​The private island of Ilha de Prata was a jagged tooth of white sand and volcanic rock rising out of the turquoise expanse of the Indian Ocean. It was a place that didn't exist on any commercial map, a sovereign sanctuary Sierra had purchased under a shell company when she first realized that the world would never stop hunting her children. Here, the air was free of the metallic hum of the Spire and the suffocating scent of the Northern Alliance. It smelled only of salt, sun-drenched hibiscus, and the deep, terrifyingly quiet pulse of the sea.

The "Island" facility was a masterpiece of architectural isolation. Situated on a jagged outcrop in the Riau Archipelago, it was a place where the tropical sun felt cold. The walls were made of salt-resistant reinforced concrete, and the air was filtered through a dozen layers of charcoal and HEPA membranes. Inside, in a suite that looked more like a minimalist gallery than a cell, Catherine Thorne sat by a window that overlooked a sea she was forbidden to touch.

“You will see, just you wait, Mr. Sazonov. It's a glorious place to die. Hahahaha!!” We flew over the sea for almost twenty minutes and then an island came into view, isolated many miles away from any other. I turned my head back again to meet the curiosity and terror in the men's eyes. “You know, fellas. When I bought this island, I had no idea what to do with it, but now I know!” My words left them in confusion, fear etched on their faces. T. B. C!!

Feeling out of sorts, Carter decided he’d wander around the island and see what he found. Hazel Island was only about ten square miles, its one town was named Hazel Town, but nobody called it that. Outside of the town’s center, there were houses scattered throughout the island. Some overlooked the cliffs for which the island was famous. Carter wandered down a street that ran parallel to a large park. It was a few hours before sunset, and families and singles walked up and down the sidewalk. Some turned into the entrance for the park, while others were most likely on their way home.
