I just wanted to think of my drink, the soft taste, and nothing but the taste, no her, no him. Focusing on the taste, it was apple-flavored with a hint of mango. It reminded me of her lips, even if it had no mango. Those lips, I had yet to get the full version of that kiss. It was more of a six-second peck, enough to memorize the feeling of her lips on mine and the slight taste of apple. Definitely her lip gloss, but still… she owed me a kiss, just one kiss. Would that be too hard to ask? Has he kissed her before? Was it accidentally or intentionally? Did she enjoy it? Was he any good?

The intensity between us grew, a spark that started in my chest, as it had before for him, only this time it grew with each long look and his gentle fingers pressed against my wrists. He leaned in and kissed my nose. He hovered there and I didn't move. He tilted his head, kissing my lips. I remained still, kissing him back. It was a light kiss, but he kept it going soft and steady. His tongue teased my lips and I welcomed it. He made a delightful noise and leaned into me, tongue darting into my mouth. I leaned far back trying not to fall. My hand searched for something to hold to, I grabbed hold of his shoulder and then the back of his neck.

I cringed as I looked away from the TV and grabbed the remote from Katherine. "Why did you off it, Zora?" Kathy glared, her lips curled up into a smirk. "I was literally watching an erotic scene." I glared at her, standing up to dump my coffee cup in the basin. "Don't you dare put it that way? You caused this mess." My friend chuckled as she got up from the couch. "I wasn't the one that kissed a total stranger who by the way is the youngest billionaire in the country to make her ex feel jealous."

I promised, going to the door. “One more thing,” he said, crossing the distance between us and taking me in his arms again. I knew his kiss was coming, but even then, I wasn't prepared for it. He took my breath away, stealing it for himself and making me forget that I had ever needed to breathe in the first place. My knees went weak, and my heart pounded in my chest as my body started to heat. I melted into him, relishing his kiss. This was the way to start a morning. “That's better than coffee,” I gasped when he let me go. He chuckled, obviously proud of himself.

It is not a passionate kiss, but rather a kiss of all the outpouring of thoughts and feelings about how the decision will end. ♡♡♡

"Come on, Tyler. Quit playing around." He tapped his hand on his cheek. "A kiss on the cheek. That's all I ask." I looked at him for a long while, weighing my options. It was just a kiss on the cheek right? I think I could do that. Finally, releasing a heavy breath, I said. "Fine." I leaned toward him and kissed him on the cheek. Just then, Tyler move my phone in front of us, while I kissed his cheek. By the time I looked at the phone to see what he did, he moved the phone from my reach again and began to type something on my phone.

And then, the kiss. That kiss…

"Just one little kiss." Harrison leaned forward with a grin widening on his lips and closed the distance between them, his lips brushing lightly against hers. Katherina felt her heart racing, and her stomach filled with butterflies. As their lips met, she felt a wave of heat rush through her body. It was just a small kiss, but it felt like so much more.
