One of them came forward, the one with the bushy beard, and grabbed me by my arm. "The boss told us to take you somewhere," he said, his voice quick and thick with something that made my skin crawl. "But I thought your boss left!" I argued.

A loud, authoritative voice echoed through the air, "STOP!" The sound was like a slap in the face, jolting everyone into attention. The guards' fingers hesitated on the triggers, and the protesters' cries for mercy momentarily ceased. As one, the crowd turned to see who had intervened. Adeline, a determined look etched on her face, strode confidently towards Zarek, flanked by a phalanx of police officers. Sebastian and Avery exchanged a hopeful glance, their eyes fixed on Adeline as she confronted Zarek.

The old man was on his feet — both feet, full weight, moving at a speed that suggested his leg had made a miraculous recovery — and closing the distance between them with zero difficulty. The door to the room swung open. The one-eyed man who had taken her last night was back. His voice was icy, "Keep thrashing about, and you'll lose the whole arm." Neve was not calmed by his words, still whispering to herself, "My arm, what happened to my arm? Why is it gone?" He stepped forward, his black combat boots thudding on the floor: "Your wound got infected, bad. We had to cut off your left forearm. Be thankful you're alive, not losing it here."

I shook my head chuckling and did the same and held a big gun in my hand, standing beside him and watching the door again excitedly. And the second wave burst in, they didn’t waste a moment, they shot everything and everywhere like crazed men, but nothing happened to us and the other men dropped dead. I cocked my head to the side and looked at my men who were as confused as me, but it didn’t last long because the next thing I know my friends walked inside. Armani was holding his cherished machine gun while Cacilia was rocking her semi that she had platted in gold. She had it custom made.

Arman’s pov “Arman.Can we talk ?” I averted my gaze from my phone screen to see it was Alda.
