My body collapses onto the carpet, unable to fight the blood loss any longer. "Mitch," Mason says in a whisper to Jace. The room spins. "I fucking shot him, Jace. Fuck," Mason adds next, shock coursing through him. Mitch’s body lies between us, lifeless and drenched in crimson. I try to look at Mason over Mitch, but my vision is becoming blurry.
