There were so many questions I wanted him to answer, so many curses I wanted to blurt out, but I held my tongue. I ignored Jenna and focused back on the man meters away from me. Aidan had on a plain white round-neck shirt, paired with loose sweat shorts, exposing his muscular legs and arms. Tattoos covered his exposed biceps, and I inched to have a closer look or a bite. I cautioned myself against any filthy thoughts, but my wolf only purred in defiance. He completed his dressing with white sneakers and a pair of socks that were a little above the ankles. A single chain was on his neck, finishing off his dressing. He looked freaking handsome, hence the females that were currently dropping their panties in his direction. My wolf growled possessively against them.

It had a costume that was similar to what Jai had worn in the semifinals. The small chibi figurine was holding a white reverse Z letter which was white in color and there was also a determined smile on its face.

Jade screamed angrily, tearing out and crumpling up a sheet of paper from her sketchbook. She threw it across the room and it landed on the floor close to the door, increasing the litter of crumpled paper and broken pencils in the room. She took a new pencil from behind her ears, her fingers shaky as she began to draw lines and curves, in readiness for another sketch. Closing her eyes, she tried to picture a face, Tiger's face - that was what they called him but she knew his name began with the letter H.

Thane shifted back to his more human form, still holding me around my waist, but lowering me until I could stand on a rock just below the surface of the water. Then he reached forward and ruffled Jayden’s hair, making him giggle again. “Why don’t you show me your drawings?” Conan asked, nodding towards the papers scattered near Jayden’s little backpack. Jayden’s face lit up. He scrambled across the rug, gathering his crumpled sketches with clumsy hands. As he launched into an excited explanation about each scribbled wolf and oddly-shaped tree, Conan listened intently, nodding at all the right moments.

Jaden was a black young man with green eyes. Well, technically, he was brown because he was born to a white mother and a black father. Though his race nor background never for once affected their relationship. Jaden was from an average family. They weren’t rich neither were they poor. Jaden’s mother was a teacher and Jaden’s father was an artist. That’s where Justin learned to draw, whenever he visited Jaden’s father’s workshop. Justin walked towards the door of the room where he kept all their paintbrushes, boards, liquid paints, and a lot of tools for drawing but he couldn’t bring himself to enter there any longer so he didn’t open it.
