"Yes, finger paint. You sound excited." I say and he quickly nods his head. "I love finger painting. My mom lets me make dinosaurs." He says and Sienna smiles. "He somehow gets more paint on himself than on the paper." "I make masterpieces." "They're blobs." "They're dinosaurs." "They're colorful blobs." I laugh as they continue arguing. "I think they're probably dinosaur blobs." I say and Aiden beams at me before looking at his mother. "See? Bianca understands." He says and Sienna shakes her head.

Outside the window rain tapped softly against the glass. Students hurried beneath umbrellas while lights slowly flickered on around campus. Jessica looked down at the drawing again. Picked up her pencil. Sophie glanced over. "What are you doing?" Jessica stared at the page quietly. Then softly said: "Adding something." "What?" Jessica looked down at the unfinished face. Slowly... Very slowly... she drew a smile. Not a huge one. Not a perfect one. Just a small one. A real one. Then she sat staring at it. Because for the first time in years... We hung outside until fairly late. I had just walked out of my room in my pajamas and sat down to work on my pictures more when Jaidyn came out in a pair of sweatpants and shirtless. "Bastian." I whisper as I add tiny dances of light to his face. "Oh, that's lovely." I whip around and my mom is standing. I huff out a breath. "You scared me." She giggles

A man dressed in a blue and black uniform stood at the widely opened gate; Caitlyn guessed the man was his gatekeeper. Immediately the gate opened, he ignited his car's engine and moved his car with such force that Caitlyn fell to the floor, again. “I'm sorry, sir! I'm so sorry,” she watched his gatekeeper apologise while bowing. He ignored the man and simply drove in. Caitlyn rushed over to the gatekeeper. “Can you let me in, please?” she pleaded shamelessly with a smile.
