Jack continued to guide the smaller fireball ahead of Lexi as he ran to catch up to her, flicking his knife out. The tunnel opened up on the sides. As the fire lit the room, small furry spiders lurched forward after them. Lexi jumped over one in her path. As Jack approached, the spider lunged up in the air at him. He swung his arm out in front, the knife jutting from the palm of his hand. It hit the spider in the middle of its eyes. It screamed as the knife crunched and slid into its surface. Small bits of blue blood seeped out of the wound as the spider fell away to the side. Jack continued forward. The other spiders hissed their disapproval and skittered after them.

"They're not your friends?" "Don't get in the way if you want to live." The man pulled me violently and with his great strength I ended up on the right side behind him in a place where the monsters couldn't reach me. Three more tried to rush us, but they didn't do anything the way the crazy man kicked. If his behavior wasn't bad I might have applauded him. I thought he was winning consecutively, but my eyes widened when he bit his shoulder. I heard him scream in pain.

I look up to see a guy I've never seen in my whole life. "Go away." I stood up and my eyes changed to red. "As you wish."
