He didn’t care that he was standing stark naked in front of his gathering family, all he cared about was that Madchen accepted him for what he was, a dragon who had found his mate. Madchen on the other hand, was mesmerized by her handsome dark suitor, who claimed he loved her. Maybe dragons were more passionate than humans ever dreamed, and maybe she had fallen under his magical spell, and she was hopelessly smitten by this magical being who wrapped her protectively in his shiny onyx wings. “I see she didn’t get far,” Madchen pulled away from Drago’s arms, to find Nick standing there, shiny crimson wings unfolded from his back. He was shirtless, but at least he had shorts on.

Her eyes never left her husband who was leaning against his chair. “We've ruled this kingdom for nine hundred years before Vincent's father took over. And now, his son." Mr Gael started. He pushed to rest his face on his right hand with a long sigh. " I've never set my eyes on a dragon this huge Roseline. That dragon isn't a shifter. It's what we have been looking for for the past generations,” he concluded. Roseline dropped the teacup on the well polished jade tray and raised her head to meet his eyes. "What are you trying to suggest? Coincidence happen–”

The exchange is obvious—everyone in the room sees it. And yet, to my fury, the Elders pretend they didn’t notice. Elder Lyra’s cold voice cuts through the tension. “Speak,” she commands. The Omega stammers as he begins. “We… we were sent on an errand that evening,” he says, his voice barely above a whisper. “We saw the Alpha’s son, Jake, playing near the border of the Zervos and Plena Luna territories. He was… he was near the edge, almost out of Plena Luna’s land.”

He'd closed the door just moments before; logically, he should've been descending the porch steps, but an eerie absence remained. Alena stood there for a moment. Julien's ability to disappear so quickly left her speechless. Alena shook her head slightly as she re-entered wearing an expression of wild bewilderment. “He's already gone," she said, almost to herself, as she resumed her seat at the table. "Like a shadow," Caleb joked, and Alena laughed briefly before her features solidified again. "Caleb, did you really see a wolf?" she asked, her voice tinged with doubt.

"Weren't you in a battle with Alpha Draxler some moments ago?" Jake's expression remained blank, a stoic façade betraying no emotions. "Yeah, I was engaged in a fight with him, along with my boss," he explained calmly. "But he sent me here to keep an eye on Fernanda while he holds down Alpha Draxler." Grinjo, upon hearing this revelation, burst into maniacal laughter, the sound echoing through the night. Damian, adopting a tone of mockery, chimed in, "Does Sergio really think he can go one versus one against my father? He must be delusional."

N/A's POV The dragon took to the skies, leaving La Bruja in a state of utter shock, while Milo and Gloria could only smirk as they watched the beast flying through the sky with a piercing glow on its back; They turned to face Jacke and Alex who were just standing there, still mesmerized by what they'd just witnessed.
