They stood far from the places where wolfsbane was poured, there was silence but soon they could hear the thundering of paws on the ground coming their way. Sandra stood next to Raider, Jake’s wolf, he stood right above her knees. Her eyes started glowing the closer they got, and her third eye appeared glowing brighter. London appeared with his people and when he saw her, he stopped in his tracks. “What the hell is that?”

I nodded and clasped my hands. I took a good look at the portraits and frowned when I recognized one of the other men portrayed. He was Drago Terranova, a millennial dragon who served as an advisor to his clan. He was a very serious man who didn't speak unless necessary, so I didn't imagine how he could relate to this woman. “I need you to look into whether Drago Terranova has left his territory in the last few years.” Jackson nodded and walked out of my office. I had a bad feeling.

Jake spoke breaking the silence making everyone to smile. "Don't worry Jake, you'll eat later but now I...em...we need to know what's up with Alyssia." Alpha Daniel spoke looking pointedly at Alyssia. Everyone turned to look at her, Alyssia feeling self conscious couldn't help but squirm in her seat. She looked at Nacen for help. "Well..." Nacen began. "Alyssia is a dragon." He stated out blankly,earning gasps from Jake's parents, Beta David and Clarissa.

George gritted his teeth, looking at the idiot in front of him. "It's not that easy. He is not a normal dragon. He is Drake Hamilton, the most powerful orange dragon ever born. No one can kill him just like that. Not even the dragon elders. Even if we complain, he has a valid reason to be there in the fairy world. So not even the dragon elders could punish him for that" George pointed out.

Draco was extraordinary. I had seen him in the first battle and thought I understood what he was. But this was the full version all of it integrated and directed, the wolf and the vampire and the demon and the dragon not fighting each other but working together, and the effect of it was there were no adequate words. It was like watching something that had been assembled from impossible parts discover that it was not despite those parts but because of them. He moved through the eastern approach like something that had been made for exactly this and had spent years waiting to be it.

Draxon didn’t avoid the king’s attack fast enough, so Xandar caught his leg, broke his limbs and was cracking his neck slowly. Draxon howled in pain before he whimpered and scratched Xandar’s hands to loosen his tightening grip, but to no avail. Then, a gust of the wind from behind Xandar nicked the left side of his arm. Another gust came from the front and nicked the right side of the same arm.
