Jane Eyre 2nd Edition Novels & Stories

The fire cracked in the hearth, casting shadows like wolves across the walls. Her second life had begun. And this time, the hunt was hers.

“Besides, you like that I read.” “I love that you read. I’m just noting that we now have duplicate copies of several classics.” He held up two identical editions of Jane Eyre. “Which one stays?” “Both. They’re different editions. Different covers.” She took them from him, shelving them side by side. “They tell different stories about when and where they were bought.” “Sentimental.” But he smiled, clearly charmed by her reasoning.

“No.” Jane didn’t hesitate. She walked over and sat beside him on the riverbank, pulling her knees to her chest. “More visions?” He nodded, running a shaky hand through his hair. “Worse than before.” Jane studied him for a moment before reaching into her bag. She hesitated, then pulled out an old, fragile-looking piece of parchment, covered in the same ancient script as the book she had shown Caitlyn. “I think I found something about you,” she said carefully.

They had probably noticed the difference in me already. I wasn't nervous. Not anymore. I had spent the last two weeks watching everything unfold exactly as I expected. The Morettis had waited patiently for me to sign the original agreement, believing that I would eventually return to the table and accept whatever they put in front of me. They had no idea that the woman who had walked away from that contract was no longer the woman who had been desperate to marry Matteo Moretti. And I certainly wasn't the same Scarlett who had signed away her future without understanding what she was giving them.

Dear Readers, Before you begin Jaime and Grace’s story, please know that All I Ask of You was previously published under the title Tempt Me Tenderly. This second edition has been lightly edited and changed to better fit the overall feel of the rest of my catalogue. All my best, Iris

I knew who it was from the second I saw it, my heart did a traitorous flip as I carried it upstairs, glancing over my shoulder like Mirabel might appear at any moment. I slipped into our room, locked the door, and tore it open on my bed. Inside was a small wooden box. Nestled in velvet lay a rare first-edition copy of Jane Eyre, the cover worn but beautiful, it pages edged in gold. My breath caught. I’d mentioned it once during the holidays, of how it was my ultimate book boyfriend fantasy in physical form. Rhys had remembered. I opened it carefully. Tucked inside the front cover was a handwritten note on heavy cream paper, his strong, decisive script unmistakable.

-Jane Eyre Chapter twenty-seven of Jane Eyre, a particular quote comes to mind as he stares at me with that penetrating gaze, a gaze that is figuratively burning a hole in me. At this moment I am battling the same thoughts that she did, between what’s right, and wrong, and what I actually want.

Anyway, since this is a non-exclusive book, a self-published paperback version of this novel (which will be the second edition as I have removed and edited some scenes) will soon be available. Once again, I thank you dear reader from the bottom of my heart for your unwavering support. With love, Nymeria

She parted her mouth and not less than a second, he covered it with his own. The End. * * * Or so it seems. *** Author's Note: Hello my dear readers, thank you for reading this book and for supporting me. Jane had excused herself to use the bathroom, leaving us standing outside. I turned to Reed. He was grinning from ear to ear, ice cream smeared on his nose. “You really like it, don't you?” I asked, a small smile tugging at my lips. He nodded, his eyes bright. “It's really good.” We were waiting for Jane when a group of girls passed by. Their eyes landed on me, then on Reed, and their expressions twisted with disgust. “She’s the one, right?” One of them muttered loud enough for us to hear. “The whore who slept with two brothers from the Weston family.”
