I sat on the cushion in the room, flipping into the pages of 'The Tale of two cities.' It was the first edition and I was astonished at how the first could be found here. I also noticed that all the five books she brought were of the first edition of each one of them. I was still reading 'The death riders' when I found myself dozing off.

She clasped her hands behind her back, fixed her eyes somewhere on the ceiling, and let loose her usual torrent of words. "I read a wonderful book called, Jane Eyre, by Charlotte Brontë. It was written in 1847, but the characters in the book are so real that you feel as if they're living today. When I read this book, I felt as if I were Jane Eyre, a lonely, friendless orphan girl sent away to a cold, cruel boarding school where all the other girls despise her."

Jane looked at her through the mirror, reminding her, "Don't forget your registration at the Paris Art Academy today. Do you know which class you're in?" Madelyn rubbed her temples wearily and weakly replied, "I know." "Good. I won't accompany you there. You can call me later if you can't find your way." Madelyn answered, "Okay." Jane had specially put on makeup to cover the freckles on her face and wore black-framed glasses today. Looking at the room key on the table, she hesitated briefly but took it. Then, Jane picked up her bag and left. When she reached the room's door, Dorian and Clement happened to come out.

I pull my eyes away from him , and gasp when I look to the direction the footsteps were coming from. Two maidens come walking towards us while holding a red square pillow each - the pillows seems as if it were made a few seconds ago – the material is new and absolutely clean. How ever , the pillows were not what made gasp , it is what laid on the pillow that did. I felt Alexander leans to me , his lips almost grazing my ear when he whispers to me.

I kept going until through the slivers of floorboard. I saw the pale green eyes of Jane, red-rimmed with tears. Her plaits had gone, just a huge, wonderfully bouncy mess of blonde waves replacing it. She was almost looking at me, not quite. /She’s looking at Padgett. Make her realise you are here, push your face up to the floorboard/
