TO HATE, TO TOUCH, TO RUIN

TO HATE, TO TOUCH, TO RUIN

“What’s this one?” “Open it,” Jared says flatly. I do. A thin gold necklace lies inside. A small piece of sea glass rests as its pendant, soft green, imperfectly shaped, rough around the edges. Beautiful without trying. And… it hits my chest with an emotion I don’t have a name for. I turn the pendant over. There’s a tiny engraving on the back. “Found.” My heart rockets into my throat.

Into His Darkness

Into His Darkness

Damien was kicking us out of here. We walked out of the castle and our car was already parked there. I turned to look back and I face widened seeing the castle was nowhere and it was the same library which I used to visit before. damn sorcery. “Thank you for helping the lord. As a token of gratitude, I would like to give you something.” Lilith said and hold out her hands to show me yet another necklace. It was a silver chain with a single pink ruby in the middle. The ruby was as big as an eye. It was enchanting and beautiful enough that I couldn’t take my eyes off it.

Hello lovely people! sorry for leaving you all hanging in middle of nowhere. I seriously didn't get time in past month to update for which I am really sorry. I will try to complete the story in this book only. Please be patient with me as I am recently acquainted to college life.

I'm guessing that English isn't your first language. Maybe it would be best to hire an editor? Some of the grammar mistakes make for a confusing read. I have had to re-read quite a few lines and guess the meaning with context clues. I'm intrigued with the story so keep it coming!

His Jewel

His Jewel

I drape my hands around the back of his neck and feel his hands slide down my back to caress my butt. “Mmmm. I am enjoying your distraction, but what about the third ring?” Lucifer asks as his hands slide from my butt to wrap my legs around his waist, so that I’m sitting directly on the large bulge in his pants...and he says I’m distracting. I should have known he would ask. “It’s in my jewelry box.” “You know you can’t keep it.” I roll my eyes at my overprotective mate. “It’s in an enchanted bag. No one can sense the power in the ring. You didn’t and you’ve been in my room for how long?”

Submission is Not My Style

Submission is Not My Style

“His pride won’t let him. Imagine having to admit to the entire pack that he got his ass handed to him by a woman. Yeah, we’re safe. For now.” She nods, some of the tension finally draining from her shoulders. “Alright… So what are we looking for again?” I hesitate. “A necklace. You weren’t at the party when I wore it.” “What did it look like?” “It’s delicate… silver chain, but the pendant is this blue sapphire. The kind that catches the light and shimmers like the ocean.” Jasmine tilts her head, thoughtful. Then she starts pulling books off shelves, muttering to herself. I follow her lead, scanning pages, flipping through volumes thick with dust and time. We move fast but carefully, the sil

Hook, line and sinker. I wanted to read just a paragraph and and next thing I find myself nose deep into this amazing and mysterious book. The way the author made the main character a defiant woman just tickles me in all the right places and I'm loving every chapter of it!

Gray Eyes

Jayden said. “So, you'll be here in a few days then?” She asked. “Yep, I have something I think you took from Gage I want Max and his people to look at.” “What?” She asked. “A necklace, do you remember it?” He asked. “Oh yeah when he tried to bite me, I pulled it off.” “Ah okay, well after they are done with it it's yours to keep.” Jade smiled and looked over at Garrett. “Let me talk to Garrett again, go enjoy yourself but please stay close to the castle.” He asked.

The Troll Queen's Bride

The Troll Queen's Bride

" I said, squirming out of Jarnja's arms and glaring daggers at my captor. Jarnja simply smiled, hands behind her back as if in surrender. Her talons shone black as coal. Heith fished from her skirt pockets a leather bag of carved stone runes - amethyst, by the looks of them - and placed them in a circle around us. I suddenly flashed back to the amethyst I had given Yola and kept in my pockets always, and my face fell as I reached for the rough jewel, squeezing it tight in her memory. "If only you could see the travail I am in now, my sweetling," I murmured. Jarnja's ears pricked, but she said nothing. Heith continued.

The Alpha King's Vampire Princess

The Alpha King's Vampire Princess

It was a dazzling piece, the gemstone emitting a mesmerizing, ethereal glow as if it held secrets of centuries past. Hera's eyes widened with shock as she uncovered the necklace. It was a piece she hadn't seen in many years, and the sight of it brought a flood of memories rushing back. She delicately lifted the necklace from its resting place, feeling the cool weight of the emerald against her fingertips. It was a family heirloom, a symbol of her lineage's power and prestige. As she held the necklace, her thoughts drifted to the events that had transpired since her return from the forbidden forest. The alliance between vampires and werewolves had become the focal point of her life, and her r

Kael's Chosen Girl

Kael's Chosen Girl

“Alaric, where’s my necklace?” Alaric looked confused. “Necklace?” “My necklace! I had an emerald stone necklace; it was so beautiful and precious! It was a gift from Kael!” I was panicking; that necklace was the only thing left of Kaelith Vaeltharion Morveth. The man who, in such a short time, had captured my heart. Alaric took a deep breath, then gently stroked the top of my head, trying to calm me down.

The Lycan's Obsession

The Lycan's Obsession

Jasper spoke, his eyes fuming with anger. The lycan prince was behaving like a jealous teenager and I was not sure if I should feel amused or sad. Keltia cleared her throat, “We should rather focus on you not dying first, lycan prince.” “What did this key look like?” I asked her while rubbing my temples. She began, “It was truly special. The key is actually the same necklace that Arwen accused me of stealing. The pendant was sphere shaped and depending on the way the light shone on it, it would sometimes look metallic and sometimes look like a transparent object.”

I am not often sucked into a story like this, but I actually care about the characters. the male lead is intriguing and mysterious. i like that the female lead, is strong. I'd love to see where you go with this. I'll be checking out your other stories while waiting and anticipating your next update
Dawn Cochran
In my honest opinion, it's a good story, but I'm not done with the book yet. I'm struggling with it. The author has drug the story out and jumps ahead without clarifying things. (Like all of a sudden, the FL has magic, but for 113 chapters, there is no mention of it or her being a hybrid.)
