Jason Rothenberg Novels & Stories

I told him that, despite the fact that I probably sounded and looked quite confused about who should be in charge of carrying out such an essential responsibility, I was certain that I was. "Hmm... Don't worry, boss; none of our men will be sent; rather, one of our company's employees who is an expert in that subject will go. Jason, who is a very good friend of mine and works in the CIA with the reputation of spying on anyone without being noticed or seen as a threat, will be in charge of that. Jason works in the CIA with the reputation of spying on anyone without being recognized or seen as a threat.

''Hi, I'm Detective Murray, I want to speak to you in regards of Jason Vella, your friend. ''Right, sure,'' he replied. He looked back to us and wave goodbye. I was stuck with Jessica as the two of us sat down on the blue chair. ''You alright?'' Jessica said. ''Yes. I can't believe Rodger wants to pull a stunt like that. I mean he is really the last person on earth to want to sabotage Jason.'' ''Someone told me that he warned him a few months back when he was fired from Jason.'' ''Really?'' ''Mm-hmm.''

Robert's words left Carrillo laughing for a minute or two. “Jason's a foreigner, you're right about that, but I don't think anyone would want to arrest Jason because he's just so good behind the wheel and also in the game of Hearts. Only Jason and I know how many millions we've made so far in bets.” Carrillo divulged, patting his right shoulder.

It is just a day like the others afterall'. ' I was wondering that you couldn't come to discuss a business gone bad or propose a new business deal to me on such a day as this. What brings you here then, Mr. Richmond?' Jason asked. He had not been able to tolerate Rodney, he always comes across to him as an insincere man. He could trust him only as far as he could through him. And he had made reference to knowing Nancy, it irked him at how familiar he seemed to claim he was with her. He was going to ask her later how that was.

Jason stopped mid-step. He turned back, meeting Robin’s stare without flinching. His face was unreadable, but his fists clenched at his sides. “Miss me?” Jason asked flatly. Robin barked out a harsh laugh, the sound bitter and laced with resentment. “You,” he sneered, pointing at him. “You were the one who sent me to prison.” Jason’s jaw flexed, a muscle jumping as his teeth ground together. His voice remained steady, cold. “And I don’t regret it.”

If one was at least proven false, then the public wouldn't be so engaged. But Jason was still being flayed by the public, the speculation growing worse. And there was only one person who was profiting from this. James Robinson. He had something to do with this. Maybe he paid someone off. Maybe he made threats. But he must have done something to keep people quiet. And not just the man in front of me. My gut clenched. I glanced down at the bartender’s nametag. “Alex,” I said, locking eyes with him. “Those cameras work. Don’t lie to me.”

I nodded. “Thank you for that. Have you found out anything yet?” He shook his head. “No, Felix and Cornelius have been working on it.” I looked at him confused. “Why are they working on it?” He looked over at Lynn and she nodded at him. “Jensen, Cornelius is the Don of the Roman mafia. He is the reason why we were able to save you.”

“So what’s your question?” I stared at his good-looking face. I just noticed now that his eyes were pitch black and every time he blinks, the color suddenly changes into golden brown. His face gets closer to me, but not close enough that we would kiss. Just enough for us to see each other clearly and closely. Jacob is already twice my age, his son is years older than me. And yet he remained that silent power within him. “I really don’t have any question. I just wanted to say something since it seemed like we’re just gonna spend the whole time in this room with silence.”

Clever Janice. He nods, opens the back door, and cracks his knuckles. “Give me a name, and I’ll ensure he doesn’t come back here.” “Niall Horan,” Janice quickly responds, naming her abusive ex-boyfriend. That jerk is a disgrace to the magical world. He’s a totally asshole wolf. “Stay safe, ladies.” “Thank you. Thank you so much!” Janice kisses the bouncer on the cheek, and I think I see him blush.

Rowan said coldly while removing his now bloodied gloves. Two armed guards removed the beaten man from the chair and took him away from the room into a holding cell. Just as Rowan disposed of his gloves, a call came in through the phone in his inner suit pocket. In irritation, he grabbed his phone and answered his phone call. “Yes?” He said in irritation. “Did I call at the wrong time? I’m Jason Cage.” Jason introduced himself. “Jason?” Rowan repeated in shock. “Yes, the CEO of PJ Brand. I would love to meet with you, my director has told me about you.” Jason proposed.
