Chapter 2 To make the room even more intimidating, Jason sat at the table, clicking the keys of his laptop and speaking into the microphone of a headset he wore. He looked up, lifted a finger to indicate he’d be a moment, and finished his conversation. As he spoke, she drank in the sight of him, resisting the urge to squirm as she took a seat. Jason was fit and tanned, with handsome features that had a rougher edge than Josh’s still immature facial appearance.

“Come on dad, just let me try one time. One sparring session with Alpha Daniel. Please?” Jaxson stands there contemplating whether he should let his youngest spar with his nephew and just let him learn this lesson on his own and see if this will teach him to take his time with training. "What?" "I think you never loved her." Todd said. His voice was calm. Steady. "I think you wanted to own her. And when you couldn't, you lost your mind." Jason's face twisted with rage. "You don't know anything!" "I know you're a coward." Todd said. "You hide behind a gun because you know you can't fight me face to face."
