William looked down at Mimi, his possessiveness flaring instantly. He had only just claimed her as his own, and now a serious, attractive rival was on the scene. The look in his eyes was dark, a flash of pure, unadulterated jealousy.
"We stick to the script," William commanded, taking Mimi's hand in a tight, protective grip. "You are mine, Mimi. You do not let him charm you, and you do not let my mother use him to divide us. This is the first test of our partnership. Let's go meet your rival, and your mother's chosen weapon."
