I grunted. "Jeffery is dead," Jerry revealed. I blinked in surprise as Jerry explained that Jeffery had fled the safe house to confront his ex-mate Alice. Somehow, she had wielded time-freeze magic, a formidable ancient power, and killed him. James had subsequently disposed of the evidence, leaving me to process this shocking development.

“It doesn't matter anymore. When Hunter returns and sees that the boys are fine, Jeff will come back to the pack.” I looked at Cierce, sensing a disturbing expression in her eyes. “Are you okay, Cierce? I told you that Jeff is dead.” Cierce stared at me, a mix of contempt and anger. “Another death caused by you. Just like Caleb's, whom you killed on the road to protect Hunter.” My mind stirred with the accusation. “It wasn't like that, Cierce. I didn't kill Jeff; it was Caleb.” Cierce looked at me, incredulous. “You're lying to avoid the consequences. I expected nothing less from you, Fierce.”

The possibility of making it out on her own was slim. Jeff was disturbed. The heaviness in his heart turned to guilt. The realization was unsettling and terrifying. Jeff was a trained fraudster. He cared less about the fate of his victims and had never felt guilty about any of his escapades. Rather, each successful mission was a bravado and a show of his skills and prowess. He was scared to admit the obvious. Love has dampened his brutality, he was human after all. ***** Johnson lived to his words. He had never made empty threats. He had scheduled a meeting with Cole to discuss the change in his plans. He wanted all wedding plans stopped.

And I'll ensure you don't do the same to Emily!" Once again, Jason's words amused Jeffry to the point of laughter. He was happy to have made Jason angry, especially if he lost. "You want to threaten me?" Jeffry sighed. "You should realize who the real killer is. And ... you gave Emily that name, huh? Or did you deliberately take Emily from the orphanage because you thought she looked like the deceased—" "Enough, Jeffry! I swear I won't forgive you if you dare to bother or touch Emily with your filthy hands!"

Jeffery remained standing near the bed watching everything calmly. H1 continued stitching without interruption. Another sharp cry escaped Clara as the pain deepened further. Tears gathered uncontrollably at the corners of her eyes now, but anger still remained stronger than weakness inside her expression. “You obsessed fucking psychopath,” she cursed breathlessly. “You keep pretending this is punishment when you are clearly enjoying every second of this.” Jeffery folded his arms slowly across his chest. “You think too highly of yourself,” he replied evenly. “Your death simply belongs to me now.”

“You're treating me like trash, Jeff. I came to you with my grievances, and you promised to help me. The first attempt didn’t yield a thing, so what next?! I want Jessica White dead. What is stopping you from killing her?” A masculine voice I assume belongs to Jefferson, and lets out a gruff laughter. “You are so naïve and clueless. What was I expecting anyway? The daughter of a murderer will always long for blood even though she can't even wield a sword.” “Oh, please, getting rid of that girl is not hard-” “Why don’t you do it yourself, then?” Jefferson snaps. “Huh? Rhea Luther, if you think it's just ABC, then do your dirty work yourself!”

His lip shook as he opened his mouth. "My mom's boyfriend did it," he whispered, with tears running down his eyes uncontrollably. "He—he said if I told anyone, he would kill me, and kill my whole family. And no one would believe me anyway because he's a police officer." The words felt like someone punched her chest, restricting her air flow, but she gathered herself together. "Your mom has a boyfriend?" Karma had kept her expression neutral and professional. "I thought she was married." "My dad is never home. He is always traveling for work." Theon had picked at the hospital blanket. "He doesn't know about—about him."

When I had even been restricted by my father not to even associate or go out to meet new wolves if it was just by putting on at least the facial mask to have a taste of life a little outside the sanctuary. Then we found ourselves in his bedroom. A small room made up of a study table and a chair. I could see the picture of Jeff's Luna and his pup together with him. A big smile painted on their faces as they took the picture. Someone would be wondering why he had to embark on this route, cheating on his wife and messing with his boss ' daughter, I mean his boss's outcast daughter. Jeff had undressed me. Pinning me to him on his tiny bed and pounding me like he has a score to settle.

Said Jaxon while smirking. Jeff swallowed hard and commanded the big guy beside him to give an order. “I … just ... preventing unwanted things while discussing with you.” Jeff pretended to be innocent. “Oh, so you thought I would kill you in here? How beast I’m to you, Father?” asked Jaxon sounded irritatingly being underestimated. Jeff’s face reddened, feeling a shame of thinking that way. “No one knows what you gonna do as you’ve changed so much since you were before.”
