He comes back over to me, handing me three books. "I think these will give you a better reference." I raise a brow, hesitantly taking them from him. "These two," he taps on two of them, "are realistic and sweet. Reminds me of you two. This one," he taps the third, a devious smile growing on his face, "is what I bet Xavier is like in bed."

He choked out. "Wasn't that what you wanted?" Xavier asked with a smirk. He stepped towards the smaller alpha. "How do you want me to surrender, little mate?" Jett's eyes blazed with fury, taking out a dagger from the back of his pants, pointing it straight at Xavier's chest, poking at it. "I crave for nothing more than your death!" He gritted. * Bang * Jeff abruptly tasted the metallic taste of blood, he opened his mouth to speak but was shut up by another blow followed in a continuous pattern. Valeria gasped from afar watching her terror. It seemed like everyone was afraid to go next to Xander at the moment. The red look in his eyes and the popped-up vein was a sight to be scared off. She held the hem of her dress. " Stop it. Xander, it's enough " Val rushed trying to separate Xander from completely ruining Jeff's face. She could only tug on his suit, for he was not in the mood to listen to anyone.

He laughed and turned around, wiping the imaginary tear that fell. "Of course you are the wife to the shittest mafia boss in the city. He will come to save you. Rushing in like some kind of hero. Is that what you read in books? Ouuuu your savior.” Xavier stepped closer. "But he has no idea he's walking into his own death." My stomach twisted. "What are you talking about?"

His tone is so cold that it could freeze an ocean. "Just kill me, you piece of shit!" Jeffery curses out with his eyes still fixed on the cat in Lexis's hold. He knows that if Lexis kills him, he would no longer find the cat useless and even if he kills it, he wouldn't be alive to witness the poor creature die. It would be less painful for him that way.
