I backed away, not understanding what was happening, but just then I looked at her neck and saw the mark of a real wolf. I realized it was the mark of an alpha blood wolf, and my body began to tremble.

Aggy looked at us, clearly confused. "You had us so worried," Piper sobbed. "I was just sleeping...maybe for a while," Aggy cleared her throat. "Did I go into hibernation or something?" "Since when do werewolves hibernate?" Paige scoffed. "Maybe you need a full checkup, Aggy." Aggy waved it off. "No, I'm fine." She looked at me and hugged me again. I felt her long breath against my shoulder; it seemed to carry some unspoken regret.

For now, she’d have to be the werewolf’s assistant. The End!
