Octavia takes Jess back to her house. Her friend's parents had long gone to bed by the time Via was half-dragging their daughter inside. Jess's younger brother was still up, probably playing those video games he was so obsessed with. He merely rolled his eyes at the sight of his unconscious sister and helped take her to her room. He dumped the older girl on the bed and messily threw her covers over her. Via tried to catch her breath, once again forgetting that she could go without it. That was the error of growing up with a mom who wasn't a vampire.

“Yes, I will be serving drinks and food as a waitress. I already spoke to Ms. Kush; she will watch you and Jackson.” Julie groans, “I told you we don’t need a babysitter.” Jessica chuckles as they walk to the door, and I look at Tabby, “Thank you,” I whisper, and she shakes her head. “I don’t know what your deal is, Damon, but you shouldn’t bring them here, you know that.” I stare at her in disbelief, and she grins, running her finger up my arm, “Will I see you later?” she asks, and I glance back at Jessica.

My former colleague. "Really? I think the twins recommended me." I replied. "I can't believe that those mischievous twins came from the Ladon Family. " Julie said. I saw someone approaching the twins and handing some paper. "Excuse, what did you give to the twins?" I asked the lady. "I am Jessie, babysitter of this kid named Ruth. We gave an invitation to the twins for Ruth's 6th birthday." Jessie explains. "Thank you for the invitation. I will send the message to the guardian of the twins. I am Raia, the babysitter of the twins." I replied and introduced myself to Jessie.

Still another had the face of a gargoyle and the body of a large cat. "What do you think Pops and Troy are doing?" Jesse said out of the blue. His voice startled me, and I missed a step, falling forward in surprise. Catching myself, I shrugged. "Knowing them, something smart. They'll figure out a way to get back to you." He nodded. "Have you drunk from Troy?" "Like sucked his blood?" Color flooded my cheeks at the question. Jesse burst out laughing and I snickered. "Well, I am a vampire."

Jess began, her voice steady yet laced with the weight of years of secrecy, "Supernaturals exist. They are beings beyond our understanding, beyond what ordinary people can see or comprehend. "Fine, but make sure he's in a room far from ours," Jock says. "Ours too. You're a vampire, aren't you? Can you shift into a bat and sleep in the shed?" Wyatt asks. Jessi kisses Wyatt's cheek. I look into her eyes. Apparently, we weren't the only ones who got interrupted. She realizes she doesn't have her sunglasses on, so she covers her face.

Elsa chuckled as she said, “If I was a vampire, it was pretty foolish of you to invite I in so quickly.” “No, it wasn’t” Jessica said smugly. Surprised, Elsa asked her to explain her reasoning and was shocked at the response. “Because, I want you to turn me into one too,” she said. “Besides, you could’ve come in with or without me inviting you.” “Into a vampire?” Elsa almost shouted. Her voice was filled with disgust. “Are you mad?” “I’m just tired of being sucked on and it burns,” Jess explained in a flat and bitter tone. “Just get it over with, will you?”

Javier’s POV I made an offer that I was sure she wouldn'trefuse. I know I was ruthless about it, but what could I do? I’m really desperate here. When I called her later in the evening, I had a feeling she wouldn’t refuse my offer. I don’t know what I would do if she doesn’t accept my offer. I don’t even have a Plan B. I can get some work done today because Lucy is with my brother Joseph. He would have been my last resort for a babysitter, but I didn’t have a choice.

I couldn't tell if it was to show that he had no choice because I had already forced him or to brace himself because what he was about to say was far from what I had imagined. "Jax... Not until you realize that, that half-ling ain't your mama!”, the professor yells back.
