Namjoon had officially entered her AVOID AT ALL COST list. just as she moved her hand to type the bell rang. taking a sigh of relief she returned to her seat and grabbed her stuff before going straight to cafeteria taking her lunch she grabbed the furthermost table and sat there. taking a book out named "how to understand people with dark psychology" and continued reading it. She was so engrossed in reading that she didn't realize that 3 figures has taken seat at her table. only until the once loud cafeteria went silent did Jude not look up

she said brightly, thrusting the books into my arms without so much as a warning. I staggered slightly under the weight, blinking at her. “What are these?” Jessica beamed, looking far too pleased with herself. “Books on pregnancy, of course! I want you to finish reading them all. There’s so much to learn about what’s best for the baby!” I stared at the stack, the titles screaming words like ‘prenatal nutrition’, ‘what to expect when you're expecting’, and ‘perfect parenting from day one’. Inwardly, I cried. Never mind. This place wasn’t heaven. It was hell.

With that in mind, they would have to spend two whole days on the road… While Gerald speedily drove along the highway, Juno—who was seated at the shotgun seat—passed the time by reading a book entitled, ‘Yin and Yang Theory’, that she had borrowed from Rey’s house. It was a while later when Juno closed the book for a moment… And it was also then when she realized something. “…Say, the book doesn’t specify who the author is!” muttered Juno. “Yeah, I realized that too. I wonder if they just forgot to add the author’s name in while publishing it…” replied Rey who had evidently realized that much earlier on, though he didn’t particularly find it noteworthy.

I had been busy with work at Monet's and my book at home, but they still managed to make sure I was involved in every conversation that was being brought up. Jessica is officially a published author. Her science fiction novel is out everywhere and she had given her family, her girlfriends (and Chris of course) new copies of her book for free. We were all so happy for her, it was like seeing your sister successful. "If I'm successful we're all successful." She said and a group of awws were exchanged and we hugged each other. We forced Chris to join us and he did.

It was a popular foreign novel, so she flipped through a few pages. However, as soon as she opened the book, she saw a letter sandwiched between the pages, with the words [To Liv] written on it. ‘For me? ‘From who?’ Out of curiosity, she placed the book aside and started reading the letter. The more she read, the more she felt weird about it. Chills ran down her spine. This was the letter that Jess wrote for her before she passed away. ‘Why is Jess’s letter to me with Zac? ‘Why did Zac never give me this letter…’

Her melancholic mood, stirred by the stories in the book, dissipated, as if the dark clouds had dispersed to reveal the sunshine, bright and cheerful. A hint of sweetness overflowed from her lips. It seems... there is a feeling of family, someone waiting, someone being waited for, it is all a kind of happiness. "Mummy, we're back!" Henry approached and habitually kissed Jessica, looking at the book in her hand. With a rosy lip, he said, "Is it boring?" In his impression, his mommy hated reading. She only reads when she is extremely bored! "Not really bored, just hungry!" Jessica smiled. "Hurry up and cook for me!"

My breath gets caught in my chest at what I find inside, and it takes everything in me not to rush forward. A nursery. A god damned nursery greeted me with Jessica sitting in a rocking chair, clutching a soft looking cream bunny plushy in her arms. She wanted to be a mother, had a room planned for a baby to come right away. Gods, she was perfect and that fucker ruined his chance. “Princess?” I call softly, pushing the door open and slowly stepping inside. She looks up with wide, teary eyes, her face tear-stained as she tries to fight back the sniffles.

Without a second thought, she stormed over to the black-haired girl and ripped her headphones off. “Hey! What the fuck?!” the black-haired girl exclaimed, grabbing her headphones back from Jessica. “I was trying to introduce myself,” Jessica said, folding her arms across her chest. “I’m Jessica.” “Well, fuck you, Jessica,” the black-haired girl hissed. “Don’t touch my headphones. I’m busy.” Jessica leaned forward on her toes to look at the black-haired girl’s sketchbook. “Hmm,” she said, sounding genuinely intrigued. “You’re good. Like, really good. That’s one of my favorite characters.”
