THIRTY: JESSICA'S POV I watched as Willow grabbed the book from Emily enthusiastically. I didn't know she loved to read this much. She stretched her hands to the stool beside her and grabbed her glasses. I thought she was just being her playful self when she had earlier asked Emily to pass the book to her, but right now? It looks like she is serious. In no time, her fingers flipped the book cover open, adjusting her glasses with her free hand. “A Mystery Romance," she said with a shy giggle. “Ohh I'm so going to love this read!” She continued flipping to the next page.

“Just once… let me watch you while you write.” Jessica managed a faint smile. “I don’t have plans to start a new book yet. I just finished Red Thorn, and I think my mind deserves a little rest…” She paused for a moment, her gaze drifting forward as if she were seeing something only she could envision. “…But I think I already know what kind of story I’ll write next.” “Really!? What kind of book?” Jerome asked, his voice brimming with excitement. Jessica fell into deep thought before speaking. “I think it’s time I write about something more real…stories grounded in truth. My next book will be inspired by actual experiences.”
