Jesus Christ Has Left The Chat Novels & Stories

Chad commented. I read through the posts without a flicker of expression, then opened the chat group I had once pinned to the top of my message. It was a group that consisted only of Maddox, Chad, and me. The name was still the one I had personally changed years ago—"The Three of Us". Looking at it now, I felt nothing but irony. Without the slightest hesitation, I tapped softly on the option "Leave Group". Almost the very next second, Chad's call flashed across my screen. I hesitated for a moment but ultimately answered.

But just moments ago, my best friend, Haley Woodward, suddenly posted a new update on Instagram. "Unbelievable. I'm so sick of the song I recommended to this one idiot three months ago, but he's still using it." Eugene had replied three minutes ago, "Who are you calling an idiot?" "You!" Haley instantly shot back. My phone kept ringing with incoming calls. I suddenly felt like laughing. How many hearts did Eugene have to be able to juggle two women at once? When he saw that I wasn't answering his calls, his bombardment switched to a flood of text messages.

Steve nodded and started walking deeper into the park, with me right behind him. "Why did you leave that group chat?" he asked as we strolled along. "It's your guys' group. I don't talk much in there anyway. Plus, when I'm in it, you all have to watch what you say, especially the dirty jokes," I explained honestly. This had happened before, and Jace had to remind them. Back then, Jace had said, "Watch it, guys. My fiancée is here."

At least he wasn't trying to kiss my ass or pick a fight—yet. My eyes swept the room once more. One. Two. Three... Where the fuck was Christ? I scowled. "Where's Christ?" I asked, voice low but pointed, like the answer better not be something stupid. Lucas chuckled, "Late, as always. You know how the Trinity Pack likes to make an entrance." Riven scoffed, barely looking up. "Or maybe he finally realized these meetings are a joke." Kael didn't say a word, just gave me a small shake of his head, indicating he didn't know either.

A Month Later: Skylar read the chat messages her friends had been sending since morning. After Christian left abruptly, without informing her, she had been depressed for days. She waited for his call every day, refusing to forgive him. How could he leave her behind? The wish to call him up and blast him was intense, yet she didn’t give in. If she would have been at fault, she would have called him, but this time, it wasn’t her fault. It was Christian who left her!

Sophia replied "Even when they're wrong?" Jennifer asked "Especially when they're wrong" Sophia replied "Yea,that's what parents do" "Yea,but I'm glad that you understand why I'm no longer religious" "That's because I was never religious myself. I just believe in God and Christ but all that Christianity is not for me" "I still never read in the bible where it says that Christ came up with any religion. We're supposed to be Christ like and he never done any religion in the bible"

I asked, irritated. "Prez… left." Christian said. I was stunned after hearing his response. I turned to him and stared at him, waiting for him to take back what he just said. But I waited only in vain. I laughed loudly, still convincing myself that everything I heard are all lies and a part of their prank. But their expressions did not change even an inch. "You're messing with me now, right? What are you even talking about? Khrys will not leave me here alone!" I said, still convincing myself foolishly.

Christian, who was on the couch, finally looked up from his iPad and raised an eyebrow. Wade hurriedly explained, "Christian, don't get me wrong... Isn't the Talent League getting ready to start shooting its commercials in the next couple of days? I heard it from the film crew..." He changed the subject all of a sudden, "So, what gift are you going to send her? Christian glared at him, and Wade shut up immediately, "Okay, it's none of my business..." * Ten minutes later, a new user named Monkey King joined Maddox Group's ChatHall which was for the communication of employees only. He started a topic.

Christian grabbed my hand and stood up, making me stand with him and started walking away, leaving them laughing like maniacs. “ Dad, we are leaving.” He said, stopping in front of Matthew who was talking with some men. I took that chance to look around to find Michael or Jessica but they were nowhere to be seen. “ Why?? Is everything wrong?? “ Matthew asked, excusing himself from the men he was talking to. “ No. The party is almost ever so just.. “ Christian trailed off to let him guess. “ Oh, alright. You must rest after so many restless days. It's okay you go, I'll wrap it up.” He said and then turned to me.

After the church service ended, I walked out of the church, trying to go back home to relax and do the rest project I had before Monday. “You were going to leave without saying goodbye, uh?” I heard the voice I knew belonged to the man sitting beside me earlier during service. He had gotten up when the pastor requested for newcomers to come forward and he left and never came back and until the Church closed. He was new. No wonder he didn’t know that when you’re in church and sermon is going on; it isn’t a good thing to be talking. I was a bit relieved he was gone and was going to disappear from Church quickly so I didn’t have to run into him, but I guess it wasn’t my lucky day.
