Am I Really a Jinx?
When the nurse brought her medication, she'd scream in terror, "Jinx! Jinx! Stay away from me!"
She refused to take her meds or eat. It was like she had trapped herself in the ten years when she called me a jinx. Doing this was her way of living through my torment.
I watched her and felt a pang of sympathy for her. Then, I hated myself for it.
No one sympathized with me back then.
"Sharon! Sharon, I'm sorry! I'm so sorry! You're not a jinx. I am," she cried out hysterically.
"No!" she said bitterly. "It's all Mr. Reyes' fault! He lied to me! He ruined Sharon's life! Sharon, if you're seeking revenge, go after him!"
