There is no reason for me to upset about but I noticed that the reviews on this book are like- "Enjoyed the book but late update so here is your 1 star." Now, I just want to let you guys know that I am working multiple jobs, I go to sleep at 3 AM and wake up at 9 to work. I try to sneak words as much as I can in between them. And having multiple ongoing books just makes it harder. I'd appreciate a bit of support from you guys. If you enjoy the story, leave a good review, an honest review. I do read the reviews and if someone leaves words of encouragement; it makes me happy. I will try to do faster updates, I hope you guys will support me in ending this book on a pleasant note <3

Succubus in your Dreams

he asked me and I was brought back to the present suddenly. “I am working at the bookstore as assistant manager right now and my boss is asking me to start dance lessons at the book store itself. I am not so sure about that but she thinks it is a good way to bring more people to the store,” I replied. And then asked,” What do you do?” “I am new to this place, and to the city as well. I am a professor of culture and linguistics at the State Uni. I am only a temp and just trying to get a feel of the place,” he said with a nonchalant expression.

A man behind the counter looked up, his glasses sliding down his nose. “Can I help you?” he asked, voice clipped. “I saw your hiring notice,” I said. “I came to ask if the position’s still open.” He squinted. “You have experience?” “I used to handle records for an import firm,” I said. “Inventory, orders, that kind of thing.” He hummed, unimpressed. “We sell books, not containers.” The response stung a little. I smiled anyway. “Still, I can learn.”

he asks. “About what?” “As a job.” “Oh. Didn’t you read my bio?” He laughs. “No.” “Right. I’m a book reviewer.” “Oh, cool. What kind of books?” “Sci-fi and fantasy novels.” “Nice.” He finishes off his beer and puts the glass on the bar.

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

DIAMOND IN THE ROUGH

She was already thinking about what she wanted to do Julian came down from the library. He was wearing a gray sweater. He picked up a book review magazine that had just arrived. He started reading it and a big smile spread across his face. "The people who review books are saying that our book is really good, " Julian said. He put the magazine down next to Elena's laptop. He walked over to her. Put his hands on her waist. He looked at the outline that was pinned to the board. "They like that our book does not rush through the story. They like that it takes its time and does not try to surprise the reader every page. It seems like all your experience in the book business has helped you make a

Once Leo recovered a little from the embarrassment, he felt annoyed with the man. “Why did you even look in the first place?” he asked. He placed his iced coffee on the table with a thump and glared. The man simply laughed. “I work for a publishing company so I check out anything that looks like a book. Everyone knows that people who write in coffee shops are future bestselling authors,” he replied with a wry smile. “I will give you my business card so you will believe me.”

Falling For Forbidden

Falling For Forbidden

But she wasn’t sure if she wanted to. The Search for a Job With the rain easing into a soft drizzle, Amara stepped out, wrapping her worn-out coat around her. University was waiting, but so was reality. She needed a job—badly. As she walked through the streets, dodging puddles, her eyes caught a handful of pamphlets pinned to a notice board near a small café. Most of them were irrelevant, but one stood out. A help-wanted ad for a bookstore assistant. Her heart leaped. A bookstore? It was perfect.

Claire held her coffee cup while scrolling through her laptop, reading out job listings. “How do you feel about working in a bookstore?” she asked, looking up. “I love books,” I responded. “Perfect. It says they need someone part-time. You’d basically sit behind a counter, sip tea, and smell paper all day.” “That actually sounds… nice,” I admitted. She smiled. “See? Normal is underrated.” We kept scrolling, jotting down a few more options. Most of them were simple, receptionist, assistant, cashier. Nothing glamorous, but that was fine.

Julietʼs Fangs

Julietʼs Fangs

The boss was a friend of my mother, so she agreed to give me work despite the young age. It was not a complicated job. I just need to attend and advise some people who sought to read, record each purchase, organize the books, make inventory and from time to time attend the social networks of the bookstore. We used to publish photos of the new books and the rebates. Easy and simple.

Let me Go! Mr Billionaire

Let me Go! Mr Billionaire

There’s something a little too clean-cut about him, and I’m uncomfortable with it. Where on earth did Laura find him? “So,” Alan picks up his glass of wine, “you’re a bookstore owner? I believe that’s what Laura told me.” “Yes, I am.” I manage a smile. “I’ve been doing it for about five years now. It’s a great job.” If you ignore that, I’ve got an awful landlord raising the rent now. “I’m surprised that you love a job like that.” “Why do you say that?” “It involves books, after all.” Alan makes a face. “Books are just things that get in the way. Not all books, but fiction is just a lot of escapist crap.”
