SILVER MIST PACK The Silver mist pack bustled with festivities, the people were gathered together, eating, drinking, laughing and jesting. It was a beautiful sight to behold, the atmosphere was a beautiful one too. It was obvious, everyone was happy because at long last, the Alpha King finally had a child to call theirs after so many years of waiting. Although, it wasn't a male pup as the people thought it would be, but whether male or female, a child will always be a child.

She hissed at me as she went to open the door for our first pack Alpha. “Alpha Theodore Bronx, Alpha of the green woods pack, I brought my sons, Thomas and Timothy as one of my boys will be the next Alpha I hope you don’t mind Luna Riverwood.” A man’s voice said. I couldn’t see him from my seat but looking to Charlotte this was the reason she was here tonight. “Welcome Alpha, come on in. We are having everyone come to the sitting room to meet her so please follow me.” I heard the Luna’s voice come down the short hallway. "No need shifting. Just enter now. Don't worry; nothing bad will happen to you." I nodded, and then I quickly followed her words. Soon as I stepped into the barrier, a silver smoke shrouded me, giving me a pleasant feeling. I closed my eyes, enjoying the moment, and soon as I opened it, the reflection of myself reflected in the silver surface of the barrier. My hair changed color to a silver color; my eyes gained a silver color. My skin has become paler, but it has also been made translucent by my silver eyes. "Wow!" Rana's mouth dropped open as if she was surprised herself with all this beauty.

His response was able to snap her out of her daydream. “I mean sure”. Silver shook her head severally in order to regain her senses before she took his hand and he assisted her up on her feet.

He takes the gun out from under his belt, pops out the cartridge cylinder to check the special silver slugs he made by melting down old earrings and necklaces he’d bought or bartered for at Old Man Handy’s Pawn & Thrift. After a few seconds of inspection that doesn’t make him feel any better, he slaps the cartridge cylinder back and pulls the hatchet from his belt. He paid two month’s wages to make a silver blade for it, because he’s read that silver hurts evil things, and though he’s not exactly sure what waits for him on the other side of that door . . . He knows it’s evil. So he holds both weapons and waits because he doesn’t need to open the door. When the time comes, it’ll open for him.

My mouth watering at the thought of a small drink, but I pushed it aside, concentrating instead on how to subdue him without consuming him. As I reached up to grasp one of the stakes, a sharp pain shot through my hand. “ahh” I hissed, yanking my hand back to reveal a bright red burn on my palm. Deep gasps fell through the crowd. “It’s fucking silver!” With a low growl, I extended my hand again. As soon as my palm reached the silver another, searing pain set in. Summoning all the strength I had, I ripped the silver out of the wall like butter. Dropping it to the ground as soon as it was free from the man's flesh, his arm slumped down against his side.

Her expression unreadable. And beside her—Silver. Still handsome. Still perfectly pressed. But older now, and not as tall. Not as broad. Not as commanding. His jaw flexed when he saw Alexander. Then, almost robotically, Silver stood and extended a hand. “Brother,” he said, tone clipped. Alexander stared at it. Then walked right past. Silver’s face didn’t twitch, but the silence that followed was deafening. Across the room, a boy fidgeted. He couldn’t have been more than twelve. Blond hair. Wide eyes. He kept stealing glances at Alexander like he couldn’t decide if he was afraid or fascinated.

Then one of the shadow creatures broke through the defensive line, heading straight for Kieran's unprotected back. "No!" I screamed. The power inside me exploded outward without warning. Silver light erupted from my hands, pure and burning. It hit the creature mid-leap, and the thing disintegrated with a horrible shriek. The light didn't stop there. It spread like wildfire, catching three more creatures and reducing them to ash. But it also caught Finn and Garrett. They screamed as the silver light seared across their arms and backs, burning them. Not as badly as the creatures, but badly enough. The smell of burnt flesh filled the clearing.

He brings me down and we are in an empty land, just a few trees, grasses swaying, and a strong punch of air to our faces. “For now, just stop being high maintenance because the status of our image is hanging on the cliff. We need to right here and see Silver, as soon as possible. He does not want to make time wasteful.” “Hydrating yourself from some water is not a wasteful time.” “If it is hydrating us, then it still means no to him.” “Wow, what are these two-couple arguing about?
