The Parousia Effect 2. The conspiracy begins

The Parousia Effect 2. The conspiracy begins

Jime Alexander
Hansen told her, “otherwise you and your son wouldn't be here.” “Anyway, it will be tomorrow when we find out why he brought us here.” After dinner, Hansen and Karen came out to sit in the chairs in front of the pools, gazing up at the starry desert sky. Joseph and Gilbert joined them, but then decided to take a walk through the back gardens for a little chat. “What does your dad do?” Gilbert asked him. “That guy seems very interested in him.” “He's a university professor, but before that he was a scientist.”

 Phelan

Phelan

His hands trembled as he thought of how to prevent his daughter from Edon. Two shining, arrogant eyes had established dominance over Ozouf's face and gave him the appearance of always leaning aggressively forward. Not even the effeminate swank of his riding clothes could hide the enormous power of his body. He seemed to fill those glistening boots until he strained the top lacing, and you could see a great pack of muscle shifting when his shoulder moved under his thin coat. It was a body capable of enormous leverage. His eyes remained wide open for a while as he rolled them from time to time.

Alpha Isaac

Alpha Isaac

The surprising thing was that Helen didn’t even react to my outburst. She calmly replied, “I understand your concern. Trust me when I say that I am trying to save you from a lifetime of regret. Isaac…has his own concerns or problems due to which he doesn’t want to take the risk of impregnating you. You and I both know that females are likely to get pregnant when they share their first heat with their mate.” “But we haven’t even completed our bond yet,” I retorted and despite her saying that she was trying to save me from regretting, I didn’t see how this would work.

He did not look happy at the idea of being forced to sit here. The man to the left of Argus was an older man, about 60 and he had a few strands of pure white in his brown hair. He had old, wise looking dark eyes and according to Alpha Reed, he was one of the men who had thrown their breeder to the side when they got 'too old' to breed. He looked old and sullen.

Alpha Nolan

Nolan: The knock on my office door came just as Alessandro left, thankfully before I said something I’d regret. I didn’t look up. Though the tension within the pack was not one that I did not notice, whoever came had masked their scent. Still, I knew that no one would be foolish to come and make a mistake like this one within my own grounds. “Enter.” The door creaked open slowly, and in walked Elder Mathew, ever regal in his pressed robes, his salt-and-pepper beard trimmed, posture impossibly upright. His presence always carried the weight of tradition. Of expectations. Of judgment.

"So tell me, father in law... can i speak with Kristina right now?” "KRISTINA!!!" Hagen bellowed that he also announced his defeat in the discussion. Gentle steps echoed from atop as someone was slowly walking down the stairs and into the 2 different parties on the ground. "I'm here, father." a voice full of charm sounded behind the wide back of Hagen. Tristan tried to peer inside but his vision was totally shielded by his soon to be father in law's huge body. The opened door seemed too small for the bulging muscles that abounded on Hagen’s body. He was 6 foot 10 inches tall and 120 kilograms weight of pure human miracle.

The starting was serious. The child mature too fast, which is sad, but hopefully 'bullies' let them be and not add to their condition. looks promising, especially the curiosity of how the kids are going to pull through. nice ?

Shaking his head, he let out a sigh and said, “Christian? Guess what, you’re with us.” “Are you serious?” Christian asked, stepping over to join them. “As serious as a stake through the heart,” Aaron assured him. “Ward, this is Christian....” “Henry,” he supplied. “Christian Henry.” “Nice to meet you. Do you happen to know where we can find Morris?” “Yes, he’s that bowling-ball-shaped fellow standing over there,” Christian noted. “Perfect,” Ward acknowledged. “He’s also our Healer.” “Really?” Christian questioned. “Interesting.”

My eyes widened, and I nodded vigorously in response. Mariano Wolfe Lionelli Montefiore Rivera was an infuriating man.

so far, chapter 34, I'm really loving this book. I love the characters. I absolutely adore the cover of this book that's up right now, it is exactly what I imagine Mariano looks like. I cannot wait to get more chapters and hippie Redd what's there at least twice now.

This was an amazing story! I wish there would’ve been a little more at the end, but otherwise I absolutely recommend reading this. Another great story to add to my favorites on here. I liked how it was a little different from most of the other mafia romance stories on here. Fantastic job author!

Mr Caine motioned for silence and the room soon became quiet once more. "Now that you all got the chance to take it in, I'd like to introduce Xavier Persons," he introduced polite clapping following his statement, as the door opened a man appears shaking his hand. Confidence radiated off his 6'1 figure, his black hair combed perfectly, his navy blue tailored suit holding his perfectly sculpted body. All eyes were on him but he went unfazed as he turned to face the room.
