I pulled out some underwear and my kitty long-sleeve pajamas. I lay on my bed and switched the TV on to N*****x, but I couldn't focus on the movie playing. I closed my eyes, thinking about what will happen soon, when my door opened. My head snapped to the person who had just entered my room so rudely. I sighed in relief when I noticed it was Johnny, and I frowned when I noticed how mad he looked. "What happened?" I asked, concerned. "The fucking Mikhas just attacked my house in Los Angeles, and they are on their way here!" he snapped, running his hands through his hair.

George wonders. “I’m not that young. I’m twenty-two years old.” I can tell that Josh has surprised George by that. Everybody is surprised but Layan. She knows he is older than me. Josh senses the surprise in my family, so he says, “I took a gap year after high school and another one after freshman year due to family issues.” “Enough with the personal questions, George, for now. Let the guy have his breakfast in peace.” I mentally sigh out in relief when dad says that. I don’t want Josh to be uncomfortable here. I want him to spend a peaceful day with us.

The door opens slightly and a small scrawny looking man appears, shaggy blonde hair shuffled around while wearing jeans and a colored polo shirt with a white lab coat. He pushes his black-framed glasses up from his face and says in a shaky voice, “Can, can I help you?” “James Lucas?” Zander asks him. “Yes,” he lets out nothing more than a squeak this time. “We were wondering if we could have a moment of your time to discuss some things privately,”

I jumped up and moved away from the wall, scared of being alone with him. "I promise I won't hurt you," he told me. I huddled against the wall, wanting him to leave before Phyllis returned. "Can you talk?" he asked. "I won't hurt you," he again said. I nodded, wanting him to leave or I'd surely be in serious trouble. He did not leave but stood there staring at me with his dark brown mesmerizing eyes. "I'm Josh Hernandez and I'm twenty-three, and you?"

Alonzo’s limousine sped away into the night. “Are you okay?” Markos asked, his tone softer now. I nodded, though my hands were still shaking. The thought that something could have happened was appalling. “Thank you. I don’t know what he was planning, but it didn’t feel right.” Markos’s expression hardened. “Alonzo is a sex trafficker, Hazel. You need to be careful.” I furrowed my eyebrows at him. “How do you know?” He didn’t answer me. Instead, he opened the passenger door for me and gestured for me to enter. And the annoying part is he hasn’t grown up since high school always acting like a frat guy. We meet them on the court, and it’s been almost a year since I last saw Wesley Summers and his son, Josh. He laughed then turned back to me his reddish bronze eyes flashing, “You live up to your reputation.” “I’m glad to hear I’m such a celebrity but that doesn’t answer my question?” I circled my finger at him, signaling him to turn his head back on to the road. “Josh is in Boston University. He transferred from Strayer in the beginning of October, I figured because Ashat came back. Staying in Florida was kind of a decision made by hormones. Boston was always his first choice.”

That, troublesome. Key thought for a moment, his forehead creased deeply. Is there someone who can help him? he remembered Joshua, the most handsome man but turned out to be the most sadistic person he had ever been. He remembered that Joshua lived in California and used to hang out at a pub in Palm Spring.
