Aurora’s POV: Josie was revived after a brief administration of first aid and funny enough this time, she no longer looked fearless. The cockiness that she once exuded had now been morphed into panic and her pride deflated. Something about the way the color drained from her face made me feel superior, and I was glad that despite all her earlier sass, I had one thing over her… something that she hadn’t seen coming. She latched her fingers on my upper arm, gripping my arm with so much vigor. Her eyes were frantic when she asked; “He didn’t die?”

She continued, "You're so dense. Didn't you tell me Elio likes Candice? Even though they're relatives, they aren't blood-related. She's your biggest rival, you know." Josie immediately understood what she meant. She quickly took out her phone and walked out of the theater while dialing a number. She went to a quiet corner and then looked around. Elio answered the phone with a cold voice, "What is it?" Josie said quietly, "Leo, I'm at the movies with my aunt. Guess who I saw?" Elio replied coldly, "I don't want to guess. If you have something to say, say it. If not, I'm hanging up."

They came into this world during a war, and she refused to lose them during another one. About 10 feet to her left, she saw a small amber colored wolf leaping around and ripping out the throats of everyone she could reach. Clearly Evie was ready for a fight. Taking her cue, Cassie transformed as well, joining the fray. She couldn’t see anyone that she recognized except for Evie. Not her dad or his beta. None of the comforting and familiar faces from Swiftcrest, just angry wolves, desperate for power and out for blood.

Adam comes running back into the hall with Rory right behind him. “Sorry,” she says when Adam crashes right into Josie. “It’s all right.” Josie bends over and picks Adam back up, putting him back on his feet. “Gosh, it’s been so long since my daughter was this small.” “How old is your daughter?” Rory asks, scooping up Adam, who immediately fusses. He reaches for me and stops fussing as soon as he’s back in my arms. “She’s fourteen,” Josie answers. “Oh, yeah, it has been a while since she was little then.” Rory looks at me and then back at Josie. “I’m Rory, Jacob’s sister.”

What had she done, created a stripper play list? The robe slipped lower showing the small of her back, and Kenny tensed, wondering if she were going to drop it to the floor. Technically it would be what he needed, but that quick flash of her ass a minute ago had stayed with him. Did he really need a grade that bad; he'd take pictures of his sister's all but bare ass? Josie did a sudden turn, pulling her right arm out of the robe, and as she came around to face him, sent the robe falling to the floor.

She was completely dry and the rain wasn't touching her. Isabelle stopped crying and raised her head. She wiped her eyes and looked up at the sky in confusion. It was as if there was an invisible force field around her and Josh's body that was shielding them from the rain. A few drops of water were floating around her and she reached out a finger to touch a hovering drop. As she made contact with the drop, Isabelle's eyes became completely white. They began to glow like a lamp and she lost control of herself. Everything around her began to move backwards as the reversal power kicked in and began to reverse time. "What did your mother mean earlier? What about your heart?" I glanced at Alex, who was standing behind her. "Nothing. It's just a family matter. Alex is still recovering, isn't he? You should stay with him." Josie opened her mouth as if she wanted to say something more. I pushed her hand away and left. For the next several days, Josie never came home. Alex's surgery was a success. Doctors confirmed that his recovery had reached eighty percent. To celebrate, Josie took him traveling.

She looked elegant, powerful, untouchable. A small, amused smirk played on her lips as she stepped down, her eyes fixed on me. The moment her feet touched the living room floor, every single guard bowed immediately, with precision. Even the one who had given the order earlier stepped back respectfully, lowering his head. “Thank you, Adam,” Josie said coolly, placing a gentle but commanding hand on the shoulder of the man she had just praised. He was the same one who had orchestrated my capture.

Their sharp eyes scanned the entire store. George muttered a curse under his breath and quickly stood up. "Time's up," he said urgently. "Remember, if I don't contact you within 48 hours, follow the instructions on the USB drive. Now, let's go!" Alicia didn't hesitate and immediately stood up to head towards the back door. She could feel the men's eyes on her back, but she forced herself to maintain a normal pace. When she pushed open the back door, she heard a commotion behind her, clearly George had taken action to divert the men's attention.
