The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

The Delta's Daughter - Book 1

As the thud of the heavy leather hit the floor and echoed throughout the endless room, books started flying off the shelves, pages fluttering towards me in a whirl of turbulence, surrounding me like a twister. An abundant amount of words flamed from each page that quivered like a feather as it blew around me. The words; burned their sacred information into my eyes, soaking up each and every paragraph and phrase, a fountain of knowledge hurling itself at me and my wolf, consuming me and etching their distinct meaning into my very consciousness. And amongst the fluttering fury surrounding me, I saw Kellen, watching. “Miss. Langley, would you care to answer the question?” huh? I had tuned every

I really enjoyed this series. Many books on this platform have similar stories, which gets boring really fast. This book series kept me entertained the whole time. It had the perfect balance of romance and action. I enjoyed getting to know each character in more detail as each book was added.

The Rescidency Risk

The Rescidency Risk

was officially stepping into the arena. "You're overthinking the packing, Jules," Clara said, leaning against his doorframe. She was wearing her clinic scrubs, a smudge of blue ink on her cheek from a long day of patient intake. "It’s a four-hour train ride, not a mission to Mars." Julian looked up from a stack of medical journals. "I’m not overthinking. I’m optimizing the spatial volume of the trunk. It’s a habit." "It’s a Sterling habit," Clara teased, walking over and sitting on the edge of his bed. "But you’re taking Mom’s stethoscope, right? The one with the scratched bell?"

The Dance of Fates: Bellatrix

The Dance of Fates: Bellatrix

That explains a lot of books brought to their room. "I see that you're into books, no doubt you were accelerated to the 3rd year," Barbie said with a smile. Jucel's thin lips curled into a small, shy smile. Barbie suddenly leaned towards her and the silver-haired young woman leaned back in surprise. Barbie spoke in a hushed voice. "I saw a book that really caught my attention back in your room. It was entitled 'Identifying Witchcraft'. Can you tell me what was that about?" Jucel's eyes widened and Chloe's eyebrows met as she turned her head to the former girl. "Identifying Witchcraft?" she asked, mimicking Barbie's hush voice as she figured out that it was confidential.

This gave me a great fantasy-themed anime vibes, those series which took place in an entirely different world with loads of adventure to occur. Those who are into adventures with multiple unique characters to choose from would defo enjoy reading this piece.

Mermaid Thighs

Black slacks, bright blue button up shirt and matching heels showed off her slim figure. “No, ma’am. There’s several teachers in my family and I’ve already read these books.” Dean admitted. She did not want to admit that the majority of the teachers in her family were college professors. And she certainly did not want to admit that the deal with Cheryl, Nicole and Jennifer was that for every ‘classic’ that she read, they would provide her with a ‘smut’ book to read. Especially since the current themes that they had been reading were omega-verse and why choose/reverse harems. But seriously, what woman would give up having three or four men pamper her and please her?

The Beta's False Mate

The Beta's False Mate

After being dropped off at Bane’s Coffee and Books, the small coffee shop where Paisley worked, I took a moment to release the tension in my shoulders. That woman was terrifying on many levels, and only a few of them were physical. The bell rang when I pulled open the glass door. “Pay’s!” A young woman shouted from behind the counter. “Hey Jules.” I waved back and gathered my apron. Juliet was in Paisley’s graduating class and the two seemed to be close friends- at least, from what I’d gathered over working at Bane’s the last few days. Jules had long auburn hair styled in waves with tips of dyed blonde ends almost in flame-like fashion. Everything about her screamed teenage rebellion from th

She said, standing up to serve him a cup and plate. "Thank you Luna." Julius said as he chewed slowly on a cookie. Carl didn't seem interested in whatever they were discussing or eating. “Julius, haven't you seen anything yet?" "Just a minute Alpha." Julius replied. "What are you looking for in the book?" Meagan questioned. "And why does it look so old and big?" Carl let out a light chuckle. “It’s more like an historical book or should I say a guideline of the werewolves clan."

Vows of Graphite and Guilt

Vows of Graphite and Guilt

"It's better than being locked in the dark with you." Julian paused. For a fraction of a second, a strange, dark amusement flickered across his sharp features. The corners of his mouth twitched into a ghostly, humorless smile. "A fascinating hypothesis," he murmured, his gaze dropping to her lips before rising back to meet her defiant stare. "But structurally unsound. You see, Clara, you are a chaotic variable. And I do not tolerate chaos in my designs." He released her arm so abruptly she stumbled back against the door. Julian stepped down the stairs, retrieving her satchel from the floor. He opened it, pulled out the leather ledger and the flash drive, and tossed the bag back up to her fee

The Reawakened Mates and their Quintuplets

I swear they’re a gift sent straight from the Goddess. After our meal, Julia arrives at the house with pamphlets balanced in her hands. She gives me a wide grin as she comes inside. “I spent the afternoon gathering some information about some nearby kindergarten programs,” she informs me as we go to the table. “I figured you could use the help.” “Thank you,” I tell her as I take one of the pamphlets. Meanwhile, the babies are busy grabbing others. “Anything promising?” “Definitely,” Julia tells me. “All of them had very impressive teachers.”

“Yet, she’s not your girlfriend yet.” Juliana looked up from the book she was reading and looked at Kelley. He had his back toward her as they crowded Marella at another booth. She wondered what was going on because she had already ascertained that Lee and Marella were an item, but Kelley and Mason’s hovering around Marella made her wonder what was so special about the girl.

In the Name of the Sacred Tree

I asked by my gestures. "Eating meatballs at Takim's," replied Julia by her gestures. In the living room, I saw a pile and rows of old books. Books were not like academic books. Even if it was called a novel, it might be from the action-conspiracy-horror-thriller-mystery genre. Well, the title alone already made people goosebumps.
