My ears caught the sounds of squirrels hunting for food. After a while, we arrived at a secluded hut surrounded by a garden of herbs and flowers. An old woman, her silver hair cascading in gentle waves, awaited us. Her eyes, weathered by time yet brimming with wisdom, met mine with a knowing gaze. "Ansel," the guard spoke, his voice respectful. "This is Juno, a healer. She possesses knowledge passed down through generations. No one who has come here has left disappointed." Juno, her eyes kind and welcoming, extended a gentle smile. "Ansel, I've heard much about you. Come, sit with me." As we settled on a patch of moss-covered ground, I wanted to know how Juno knew my name.

Before my big announcement, my heartbeat accelerates as I think about it. I dust off any speck of dust from my clothes as I near the Arena, I wonder how the pack is going to take the news. It's unheard of for a slave to become the Luna of the pack, but they surely will not reject my Luna, just because she was a slave, she is my mate, and they better accept that.

Her hips were wide and her legs curvy as they moved out of the slit with each step. She turned between me and my mother. "My, what a solstice we have here!" She clapped her hands. "A battle between mother and daughter, how fantastic!" Her melodic voice rang like a lullaby. It was hard to concentrate. I tried to speak. I wanted to plead my case, but my throat was closed up. No matter what I did, I couldn't get words past my lips. Juno walked around the circle. As she touched the roses, they flared even larger. She looked between me and Remi. "And budding love? My goodness, how exciting." She walked to my mother. She cocked her head to the side as she looked at her.

“Auntie Julie”, she cried with tears threatening to spill from her bright eyes. “I don’t want to go to that school anymore!” Julie made the monumental decision to be the guardian of her late sister Mara’s beautiful daughter when she died shortly after giving birth to Hannah. Being a mother isn’t easy, even for a normal child and Julie knew this. The problem was that Hannah wasn’t a normal child, and Julie learned when Hannah was very young that she had a strange ability to just know things.

I felt anger bubble inside me. “Look at me!” I snapped. His eyes shot up to mine. “Do you know who I am?” I asked. He nodded. “Tell me.” “You’re Leah Garrison.” “Yes, I am. And you did this to me.” I held out my wrists and then lifted my jumper to show my healing wound. His eyes fell to my stomach and then back to his chained wrists. When he lifted his gaze again, his eyes were filled with sorrow. “I am so sorry; we did this to you.”

And at the center of it all, undefeated, untouchable, was Kane Shawn. Standing at 6'5", with a body carved from years of brutal discipline, he was a titan among men. His blonde curls were damp with sweat, sticking to his forehead as he rolled his shoulders, his enormous arms flexing with ease. His skin glistened under the dim lights, his six-pack rippling with every movement. But it was his face that truly set him apart a masterpiece of sharp lines and perfect imperfections. His light blue eyes had the power to pierce through a man's soul, making even the most confident opponents hesitate. His lips, full and sinful, often twisted into a smirk that made women weak and men envious.

Kane said and wanted to continue when the voice of Adaoh was heard. Adaoh has healed the side of Juno's head where it was opened when Rumi was hitting her. She magically closed every cut in Juno's body. She made a bed appear in the room and placed Juno on it. Getting up to her feet, she went over to the bed and one by one, she began to remove Juno's clothes. Cleaning her body until she got to her legs and removed her boots one after the other.

I told them, then both of them smiled. “Julius… how’s my dad and Leticia?” I asked him. Leticia is his and my daughter. The Demon God infused Julius’ power into my womb and that’s the reason why Leticia was created a few months after I gave birth to the twins and after I met Julius.

' Juno speaks, her voice so calm and soft for the first time in a while. 'Don't forget you called him a monstrous creature just yesterday.' I remind her. Since I'm outside, I'm having this conversation in my head. But Juno can hear me of course. 'Well, he's an Alpha. I'd rather chose him to those riff-raffs.' 'Those riff-raffs are my mates.' She snorts. 'I know you don't have a standard, but you don't have to wear it as clothes. Just so you know, I know my worth. I'm meant to be Luna. And it's either that or you're on your own.'
