I gasp, my eyes wide with surprise and a hint of fear. The demon smirks at me, looking amused by my reaction. "Oh, don't be so scared. I may be a demon but I'm pretty sure I'm not that scary." He chuckles. My eyes quickly scan around to understand my current situation. That’s when I realize that Aster is naked and casually lounging in the bed.

The next morning, I woke up to a room that looked like a tornado had hit it. Shane glanced over at my laptop and keyboard, his voice scratchy as he yelled, "Get rid of it!" I nodded and planted a kiss on his cheek. "In the future, I'll do it for real. I won't need a keyboard to help me anymore." He weakly muttered, "Shut up."

We dove behind the missile cart just as the room erupted in a hail of bullets.

It was touching his shoulder. I looked at the film. The robot was doing something brave and sad, and I retained absolutely none of it. Halfway through the second act, Lucas woke up, decided he needed water, untangled himself from both of us with complete disregard for the spatial arrangements he had created, and disappeared to the kitchen.
