I drop down behind him trying to use his weight against him by throwing him back over me, but he turns last minute and knocks my legs from under me. I pull him down with me and he is laying on top of me. I hear a growl in the distance and roll my eyes. He looks up from where no doubt Brett is standing and I use it to bring my hands down at full speed onto his chest. The force of my punch throws him off me and as he staggers to try to regain his footing, I jump up in a crouched position and swing my legs to knock his legs out.

His frustrations boiled over as he shouted at himself, "Get up! Get up, dammit!" In a panic, Troy even resorted to slapping himself below in an attempt to force a response. Yet, the result was the same—nothing. His buddy remained limp, his efforts utterly futile.

“What the hell!” I squeal out as my knee glances off a rock on the way down. My cheek bounces off the dust covered ground and I groan in frustration and pain. I can sense someone is there, watching me, but no one speaks or offers me aid, so I push myself up. A foot presses in the center of my back, pushing me down to the ground again, this time pinning me.

I try to ask for help, but everyone seems too busy to assist me. Suddenly, I'm knocked off my feet, bumping into someone who's sprinting in the opposite direction. I fall to the ground, trying to regain my composure.

I grin, much to their disgust. My legs kick upward, knocking down two of them as I balance my feet back on the floor. The rest rush at me with blows; I bend backward, my knees scraping against the rough floor as I drive my fists into their groins. Getting up, I wrap my arm around one of the big guys and swing onto his shoulder, my feet locking his neck and then turning to the left. His neckbone snaps with a loud crack.

Just enough. "Good." He grabs my wrist. Uses my momentum against me. Flips me. I am on my back again but this time I roll. Come up on my feet. "Very good." We go again. And again. Over and over until I lose count of how many times I hit the mat. How many times he knocks me down. But I keep getting up. Keep fighting. Keep pushing. "Break." He finally says. Tosses me a water bottle. "Five minutes."

I had to admit that every buried feeling inside me was stirred up by Tessa at that moment. Even though I no longer cared about the bracelet, she started talking about our childhood. She bullied me since we were little, stole my things, and now she even took my man! Suddenly, my emotions erupted like a volcano. I reached out my hand without even touching her when Tessa suddenly screamed and collapsed to the ground, clutching her stomach, and crying out in pain. Jason rushed over in an instant, knocking me down, then gently helped Tessa up.

Finn's POV A sound reaches me a split second before a sudden attack. Boots scrape fast against concrete, too close for comfort, and I barely finish turning before someone crashes straight at me with all his weight and momentum. I move on instinct, grabbing the front of his jacket before he can drive me backward, twisting my body sharply and using his speed to unbalance him. His feet leave the ground and I hurl him down hard, his back slamming against the pavement with a force that knocks the air out of his lungs.

I start bouncing on my toes, waiting for Onyx to get back up. Onyx kneels on the ground and tries to pounce like a cat but I front kick him as soon as he gets close to me and falls back. I jump to land on top of him and he punches me in the jaw. I know that’s going to leave a bruise. He proceeds to jump on me and grabs my arms as we roll over and over. I growl at him in irritation and go to head butt him as he’s bringing his head down in the same move and we both go limp, clutching our skulls in pain.

” Minion 1 shouts. I couldn’t help the giggle that tumbles out of me as I make my way back over to him as he gets up from the ground. “I’m sorry, did I kill your little friend? My bad.” I say. Minion 1 goes to strike at my face, but I block his jab and aim my own jab at his rib cage, hitting him twice in a row and making a rib crack. He doubles over, and I take the opportunity to land an elbow to the back of his neck making him drop to the floor.
