Jude stated and Willow laughed at his snarky comment. "Get out of my room you Caucasian dog," Willow could imagine Eve glaring at her brother. "Your food's ready," Jude said and she heard the door close. "Leave the boy alone," Willow said to her. "As if. If he continues like this, he'll never find a wife. Or worse, he might catch STDs!" Eve stated. "He's eighteen for crying out loud," Willow pointed out. "And so? The idiot is meant to focus on his football scholarship or he won't make it to UCLA," her friend said and Willow laughed.

How I could have spent so long wondering if we’d ever have this chance, and now it was ours, quiet and simple and real. Taylor waved at us from across the gym, nudging a friend to come dance, and I shook my head, laughing under my breath. Tonight wasn’t about the rest of the world. It wasn’t about apologies or past mistakes or the chaos we’d carried with us like extra skin. It was about this, this quiet moment where the music faded into a background hum, where the lights sparkled but didn’t blind, where his hand in mine told me more than I’d dared hope for.

Call if there are problems, 09xxxxxxxx' How can she go out when she doesn't even have anywhere to go? She doesn’t even own a phone. With nothing else to do, she decides to have a look around his place. It's minimalistic and neat. Something she wouldn't expect a guy to design their place with. There’s nothing remotely interesting either. It looks like the place of someone who's not planning to stay for more than a year.

This boss must be nervous about something else. “We haven't met each other yet.” The man then stretched his slender fingers towards Laurel and she could not help but welcome the helping hand. “We'll just be informal right away, remembering me and you will often be in touch. Especially when Alin starts her maternity leave period, you can just call me Mr. White,” muttered the man after releasing his firm grip. 'Just'. Laurel was sometimes amused by her sharp analysis of words, but she just couldn't help it. Why did Mr. White use the word 'just' in his sentence? As if he had another name, wasn't his name really White?
