“We were in the same batch that year. Tom, Kennedy, Collete, Camilla and myself.” I remembered that I was discussing about Kennedy and Collete with Tom. Immediately I saw Kate I have to make the introduction. “Tom, this is Kate, Kennedy and Collette’s daughter.” Agent Tom’s POV I was shocked. I have known Kate for a long time but I didn’t know she is Kennedy’s daughter. “Do you know each other?” asked Charles. “Of course we do. Xander dropped the snarky comment from his mouth, ignoring the imaginary smokes coming out of Cole's ear. " You mateless bastard!" Cole yelled as he lunged at him. " Get off me idiot, a pot calling a kettle black." Xander retorted, pushing Cole off him. " Take a look at yourself before calling me mateless, I don't think the moon goddess would even grant a whoring ambassador like you a mate." Xander continued shading cole who looked likes he was about to spit fire from his mouth. " Even if she were to have pity on you and grant you a mate, she'd give you Kesha." He added making matters worse.

He stayed. Inside, Reya looked past Kai the moment he entered the room. “Where’s Ren?” “In the car. He’s tired.” Cole raised an eyebrow, a crooked smile appearing despite the hospital bed. “More like a fucked limp.” Kai shot him a flat look. “For someone who just escaped death, you’re surprisingly observant. I guess you’re fit to resume work.” Cole immediately put on a dramatic expression. “Momma, Kai’s bullying your sick husband.” Reya sighed, though her eyes were fond.

This one sounded like a predator who enjoyed the fear he caused. “What do you want me to do?” I whispered, barely able to breathe. “You don’t have to do much,” he said, moving back in front of me and crouching down. “Just sit there and look scared. Your professor is already on his way.” Kai. They wanted Kai. My stomach twisted violently. “No… please. Leave him alone. He hasn’t done anything to you.” Cole laughed softly, almost pityingly. “Oh, Ethan. You really have no idea who you’ve been sleeping with, do you?”

Kita, feeling a little bashful and uneasy, not knowing exactly what to say, slightly re-positioned herself on the sofa. "Yes, you may have seen a photo of me," Kita replied, knowing that Ms. Cole had to know who she was. Especially since she was the girl supposed to marry Lyle, well, Kenneth Cole.
