I hadn't expected him to be so direct. “Look…I don’t know what happened between the two of you…and I don’t think it’s any of my business either.” Cole sighed as he threw his bag on my bed and took a seat before patting the space beside him. “He just told me what happened but we didn’t get to talk much since he got dragged off to the Student council room for pictures for the contest or some shit. But honestly, I think Kai’s a bit shaken himself. You know he’s straight, right?”

“We were in the same batch that year. Tom, Kennedy, Collete, Camilla and myself.” I remembered that I was discussing about Kennedy and Collete with Tom. Immediately I saw Kate I have to make the introduction. “Tom, this is Kate, Kennedy and Collette’s daughter.” Agent Tom’s POV I was shocked. I have known Kate for a long time but I didn’t know she is Kennedy’s daughter. “Do you know each other?” asked Charles. “Of course we do. The world is indeed a small place!” That year after the death of Kennedy and Collete, Charles and Camilla quit the agency. They were angry with the administration. Now that everything has been cleared I wanted to tease him.

Jace sneered. Cole's smile didn't waver. "Fate," he said casually, then turned to me. "Wouldn't you agree?" I didn't bite. My eyes stayed on Xander, searching, digging past the surface, desperate for even the faintest sign that he was Hayden. "Xander," Cole said, finally cutting to the chase, "Ms. Kay has taken quite the liking to you. She wants to keep you. What do you say?" Xander's answer was sharp and direct. "Mr. Drago, you know my rules. I don't provide those kinds of service."

He had unconsciously left his stance on his mind which made Cole heard what he was thinking about. " There's nothing, there's no one, stop saying rubbish." Xander hissed rubbing his hot face. " I'm sure you'd have gotten blushes all over your BEAUTIFUL face." Cole laughed hardly, emphasizing on the beautiful. " I'm going for real now." Xander said in a hardened tone. " Hold on! Hold on!" Cole hurriedly said knowing Xander was really going to hang up. Hearing nothing from the Gamma, he proceeded. " I must've missed telling you this because of the massive workloads in the branches but I'm really confused, since Kaden isn't around now, we gotta solve this ourselves." Cole said.

Out walks a shirtless William with Misty. “Misty”! I stand in shock. William and Misty freeze. William’s face turns white like he has seen a ghost, but then speaks, “Stella, Cole what’s wrong? What are you doing here?” I notice that he is still holding Misty’s hand. I ignore his question. “Misty do Kai and Taylor know about this”? Misty is Kai’s mother. Her mate who was of course not her fated mate died years ago.

I stare at Cole in shock. Because there’s no hesitation in him. None. No panic. No guilt. No uncertainty. Just complete certainty. Kelsey laughs harshly. “You’re seriously going to deny it?” Cole drags a hand through his hair looking more irritated than nervous. “Kelsey, we never slept together.” Silence. A guy two tables away literally chokes on his drink. My head snaps toward Cole. Kelsey goes pale instantly. “What?” “You heard me.” Cole’s voice is sharp now.

This one sounded like a predator who enjoyed the fear he caused. “What do you want me to do?” I whispered, barely able to breathe. “You don’t have to do much,” he said, moving back in front of me and crouching down. “Just sit there and look scared. Your professor is already on his way.” Kai. They wanted Kai. My stomach twisted violently. “No… please. Leave him alone. He hasn’t done anything to you.” Cole laughed softly, almost pityingly. “Oh, Ethan. You really have no idea who you’ve been sleeping with, do you?”

Kita, feeling a little bashful and uneasy, not knowing exactly what to say, slightly re-positioned herself on the sofa. "Yes, you may have seen a photo of me," Kita replied, knowing that Ms. Cole had to know who she was. Especially since she was the girl supposed to marry Lyle, well, Kenneth Cole. And how could she forget all the drama that had taken place in Baha Mar between her and her son Kenneth? But Kita tried her hardest to keep a pleasant smile on her face. I yelled so everyone could hear me. We walked up to Adam and he bowed to me, dad, and mom. "Alphas, Luna." He said. "Do you know where they went?" I asked. "No Alpha. I can't pick up Kevin's scent."
