MAYA The moment I held Kaiser's hand to see what happened, he jerked away from my hand and it pinched me. I looked at him, and if felt like he was in a lot of pain. "What happened?" I asked him. Kaiser's reaction was worrying me. "My skin... It's burning like anything," he responded. "What?" I was shocked. How did that happen? "Were...were you working with some chemicals?" He asked, looking at me. I gulped, and I looked at Dad. He might be wondering what happened. "I am bringing some ice," Dad responded and rushed out of the room towards the kitchen.

Kaiser also had ‘special treatment’ in the beauty centre. As Jasper was now the Super VIP member of KK Sols, Kaiser had assigned the innocent new recruits to appease him. Unlike Griselda, he was the type who kept his feelings to himself and acted cold on the surface, giving me no means to guess what was on his mind. With Syl’s appearance disturbing my mind, I wasn’t bothered whether or not he had developed an interest in me. I had more things to worry about.

Beside them, trying to stop them from ripping each other out with their eyes was Kole. “Hello brother.” Kaiser spoke with a cynical smile on his distinct features. He didn't look or share any resemblance with Kaden at all. He had light brown hair that framed perfectly around his head, and had a pair of electric blue eyes, with a well chiseled jawline. He looked a lot like a young Leonardo DiCaprio, before he grew old and fell off. He was tall, but not as tall as Kaden was, but talk enough to stand looking him in the eyes.

Or was this Kaiser’s paranoia? He moved again, slowly, until they were face to face. So close she could feel the warmth of his breath brush her skin. His gray eyes dropped to hers, those chameleon-like eyes that never stayed one color, now flickering with gold as the light touched them. Her creamy, honey-toned skin was lit softly by the bedside lamp. Her long, black hair fell over her shoulders in loose waves. Bare-faced, no makeup, yet still, striking. Kaiser stared like he hadn’t really seen her until now.

I approached them, nodding my head to Lorenzo, and my eyes fell on Kai's deep hazel. "Look who we have here," Kaiser muttered under his breath, but both Enzo and I could hear him. "I was looking for you," I said to him, and Lorenzo excused himself. "You've found me. Don't tell me you are here to personally kick me out of your territory?" Kaiser's eyes dwelt on me, as they regarded me with the usual glint of hate. He leaned slightly against the pillar. "I didn't come all the way here for that," I said, sounding more calmer than I expected as I struggled with the words about to let loose from my lips. "Thank you. Hearing my thoughts Kai howled in my mind while I looked at the gorgeous face of my little mate who had the dazzling milky white, spotless, pale skin which was glowing brightly as the soft rays of morning sunlight fell on it, I felt like caressing it softly with the back of my hand. His deep, dark ocean blue coloured big eyes looking like sapphire which are enough to make me get fully drowned in them. His light baby pink coloured full, juicy, plumpy lips looking like delicious jelly, so tempting that I want to capture them and kiss him senseless.

With a smooth, fluid motion, he shrugs it off, tossing the fabric onto a nearby bench. ​Goddess. The dawn light traces the hard, sculpted planes of his chest. He is a breathtaking vision of storm and strength. His muscles are corded and rippling beneath sun-kissed skin. A faint, jagged scar traces his collarbone from some forgotten battle, and the deep V of his hips disappears tantalisingly beneath the waistband of his leather pants.

And at the center of it all, undefeated, untouchable, was Kane Shawn. Standing at 6'5", with a body carved from years of brutal discipline, he was a titan among men. His blonde curls were damp with sweat, sticking to his forehead as he rolled his shoulders, his enormous arms flexing with ease. His skin glistened under the dim lights, his six-pack rippling with every movement. But it was his face that truly set him apart a masterpiece of sharp lines and perfect imperfections. His light blue eyes had the power to pierce through a man's soul, making even the most confident opponents hesitate.
