Mona giggled.
She knew she was tipsy.
Kane had warned her not once, but twice not to drown the entire glass of wine. But she didn't want to waste his money, so she gulped it down like a damn fool.
Now, her head felt light, and everything seemed extra funny.
Like the way Kane walked, all controlled and powerful. Or how he sat, spreading his legs slightly, exuding confidence like he owned the place. He probably does.
Mona plopped down beside him in the private booth, grinning up at him.
