Klark, ‘Tribid Greed’ by Steve Reynolds, and a lot of other books.

All the girls parted and out stepped a short petite not-so-maidenic woman in wrinkly skin with a full-fledged smile. Karen. "No!" Hunter and Mr. King's alarmed voices shouted at the same time.
