Katniss X Finnick Novels & Stories

“Stay behind me, please.” Maddox moved her to the back and turned around with fisted hands. “Finn, I don’t want to kill you, but I will. Is that what you want, brother?” An exasperated breath escaped Finn's mouth as he stopped in front of Maddox. And then Finn surprised her. He lowered onto one knee and bowed his head. “I better find my mate, Mads.” Letting out a long breath, Maddox relaxed his fingers, kneeled, and pressed his forehead against Finn’s. “You will find your mate. If I have to search this planet for her myself, I will do it. Trust me.”

She gave me a bear hug and giggled. Keenan went around the room introducing everyone. "That is Alpha Dean, my father. This is Luna Angela, my mom, this is Mia, my sister. This is Zack, my brother. And you already know Adam." I was at a loss for words. I couldn't believe everyone was so happy that he met his mate. I was thinking to myself about how special this moment was when Kennan asked me a question. "Did you hear me love?" He asked. "Hmm? No I was lost in thought." I said.

Their eyes met, and the rest of the room seemed to fade away for a second. “I love you,” Riven whispered. Kael smiled, that beautiful, warm smile that always made Riven’s heart skip. “I love you more.” Then he leaned in and kissed him slowly, deeply, and full of everything they had been through together. The kind of kiss that promised forever. The entire room erupted. Cheers, whistles, and loud clapping filled the apartment as everyone celebrated them. Dex clapped the loudest, genuinely happy for them. May was openly crying happy tears while Nico and Faye shouted teasing encouragement.

My eyes widen when I saw who she is talking to. "What do you want? This one? This? Or this?" He showed Kella the three different kinds of gummy bears. "Oh! All of them looks yummy. Please, give them all to me Mr." Kella replied politely. Kaden obliged and gave it to Kella. There was this warm expression plastered on Kaden's face. He was intently looking at Kella and so Kella does. They are staring at each other. Their eyes are doing the talking. Kaden hasn't seen me yet because his full attention is on Kella. And I don't have plans to show myself to him so I turned around again facing the shelf and pretended I'm searching something.

His explanation was met with a frown from Nick. “Explain what? What exactly is going on here, Athena?” Nick asked, his face full of disappointment as he turned to me. “Athena and I—” Cassian started, but Nick cut him off. “Athena and you? I tell you about this girl I like, and you go behind my back and date her?” Nick’s anger was evident. “It didn’t happen like that,” Cassian said, trying to defend himself. “Right. Of course, I’m an idiot for believing we could ever be brothers,” Nick said bitterly, his words clearly hurting Cassian.

she said pitifully. Nill also looked up at Finn pleadingly. Finn sighed seeing their expression. “Just behave, okay?” He said. He had been away from Nill for so long that he at times felt guilty. He couldn't turn him down just like that. “Okay!” “Promise!” The two said happily. Finn sighed again. Who knew that they would get so close that quickly? … In the middle of the night, Finn who was working on his laptop on the couch looked at the two people hugging on the bed.

KATNISS Minutes passed but I was still speechless and shocked. Everyone was staring at me, waiting for me to say something. But what do I say?! Right in front of me were two guys who looked just the same and I couldn't easily figure out which of them was the guy I've loved all my life and which was the stranger. "Kat," Rex grabbed my hand, wearing that gummy smile of his. It was the only way to convince me that it was really him. "You should say something."

He says, and I grin. "Not now, babe. Our families are here." "Okay." He says, then spins me towards him, kissing me softly on the lips. "Eww." We hear, and pull apart to see Kaiden, Hope, and Roseanna looking at us, disgustedly. I laugh as I pull away from the man of my dreams. ____ "I don't like Finn." Cara says, as we sip wine. I laugh, as Danielle say "Neither do I." Nina nods in agreement, but Violet says nothing, eyes on Zayn.
