Keith Kogane Birthday Novels & Stories

“Yeah, I know. That’s what they all say. But it’s not true. They both died in a car accident.” I sat up straighter, a chill crawling down my back. “Wait… a car accident?” I asked. He nodded. “Yeah.” “Do you remember the date?” I asked, my voice barely above a whisper. He paused. “October 18.” I froze. My eyes widened as the glass in my hand suddenly felt heavier. Kyle turned to look at me. “Are you okay?” “October 18,” I murmured, “That’s my birthday.” He was silent, just watching me.

I stared out the window of my room. I decided not to think about it that much because my birthday was never really celebrated, it really made no difference but Prince Keith's parents... His parents. This day was important to him. It was a connection to the people he had loved and lost, the people who had shaped him into the man he is now. The thought of him confronting that day alone, or without it being properly honored, twisted the knot in my gut that I couldn’t help but felt concerned. My birthday doesn’t matter and what mattered was April 16th being a day prince Keith could honor his parents with the respect and solemnity they deserved. I had to make sure of that.

MIA By the time Keith returned, the doctor was ready to leave. “Thank you for coming,” Keith said, much to my surprise. I didn’t think that Keith Von Quavo was capable of using those words. “And I am glad and relieved that the two of you are in good health,” the doctor responded. Then he turned to me and asked, saying, “And how is your birthday preparation coming up?”

They ate in easy silence at first, but soon, she started asking him questions. Simple things. "What's your favorite movie?" He shrugged. "Don't have one." She gasped dramatically hands on her heart . "Blasphemy." He smirked. "What's yours?" "Easy. Baby ." He groaned. "Figures." She stuck out her tongue. " What's your favorite color?" Kane hesitated. "Black." She snorted. "That's not a color." His gaze darkened. "It is to me." Mona giggled, shaking her head. "Fine. Black it is."

said Jake after Kenzo approached, in his hand, there was a calendar, Jake occasionally glanced at the date written on it. "Who's birthday is it?" Kenzo asked curiously. "Maria." Kenzo nodded his head, he still hadn't left knowing that Jake wasn't done yet. "Order a ring for..." Jake thought for a moment. "No...no, I'll leave the ring business alone. Yeah, basically prepare everything. On the 27th everything must be ready." "What?" Kenzo shouted in surprise. "On the 27th the day after tomorrow, Jake, how can everything be done all of a sudden?" Kenzo couldn't believe that such a big event would take a very long time to prepare as well as possible.

“Keith, I know you dislike candles and cake, but you still have to celebrate your birthday. I’ll eat your slice for you!” Stunned, Keith could only stare at the mother and daughter pair who were grinning from ear to ear. A foreign feeling surged into his heart at that moment. Those two were definitely idiots. They paid so much attention to a child of unknown origins like him, to the point they would do anything for him. Weren’t they afraid he might stab them in the back? That day, Keith finally experienced what it felt like to be a five-year-old celebrating his birthday. Upon returning home, Tina told Kara a bedtime story as usual.

Grandma Yates grinned widely and said, “Keith, you’re incredible, you even managed to invite both Sheldon Xavier from the South Lights and Mr. Kyle Quinlan! “What an honor for an old lady like me!” The other Yateses all turned their eyes onto Keith Yates excitedly and exclaimed, “Chief Yates, you’re amazing! Someone, as distinguished as them, is actually coming over to celebrate Grandma’s birthday!” “How did you do that?!” “It seems that it wouldn’t be long before the Yates family gets to become another top-class family already!”

Zoe looked at the stars in the night sky and said, “Ky, can we come here on my birthday every year? Let’s come here on your birthday, too... I’ll also prepare a surprise for you.” Kyle hugged her. “Sure.” Zoe suddenly remembered that she did not know his birthday, so she asked, “When’s your birthday?” “March 29th.” Zoe nodded thoughtfully. “March 29th. I’ll remember.” Kyle caressed her face and asked gently, “Zoe, since you like stars so much, why don’t I give you one?” “Huh?” Zoe looked at him, not understanding what he meant. “I’ll pluck a star from the sky and give it to you as your birthday present, okay?”

he muttered, shaking his head as he shut the door again. Inside, the cottage was still warm, the fish still on the pan. He sat down, resumed eating, and glanced at the small wooden calendar near the window. The red mark on the upcoming date made him pause. Kyle’s birthday. A faint smile tugged at his lips. It had been a while since he’d seen him in person, but he knew he had to be there this time. He owed him that much—and more.

His sage advice. "Don't worry," K flashed a reassuring smile. "Jesse doesn't even know when my birthday is, so I don't see how familiarity is going to be such a problem in the near future." She air-quoted her fingers on familiarity. Jesse pressed his lips into a straight line, and has come to the realization that he in fact doesn't know a lot of trivial things about K - her age, her birthday, her real name. "You don't want to tell me those, anyway," he croaked and got all defensive. He sounded butt-hurt and a little annoyed. "What's the point?"
