I rush into the lake. The water is clean as it splashes with my entry. I see the fish as I go deep and take a dip not thinking of the predator who is about to join me in deep waters. Killer enters as I turn to face him. He’s wearing a sleep shorts. I always took him as a Jockey’s man but then who really knows Kevin Stone. Sometimes I wonder if he even knew himself. “Let’s swim to the other side, I wanna show you something,” He gestures, and takes a deep dive into the lake.

Why did I only understand how I felt after I'd already lost her forever? *** Epilogue II Third-Person POV After Yara died, Shawn went after Johan's company. When two heavyweights went to war, everybody took a hit. Their friends set up a dinner to force a truce. Johan and Shawn showed up as a favor, but both looked ready to tear into each other. Johan was a wreck. Shawn had lost so much weight that his eyes looked huge in his gaunt face. "Don't think I'll ever forgive you." "Give me Blackie, and I'll help you finish this," Johan said.

My wife's student, Talon Palmer, hired someone to stab me, leaving me critically injured. In six years as an attorney, my wife Audrey Taylor had never lost a case. Yet she stayed up all night compiling nearly a hundred pages of trial materials, all to prove Talon innocent. I stood in the doorway for six straight hours, torturing myself as I watched her work. Finally, I asked hoarsely, "Why?" She didn't even look up. "You accused Talon of being the other man. All he did was ask that thug to pretend to be his brother and scare you. Everything that happened afterward was the thug's own doing. It had nothing to do with Talon." I shook my head in disbelief. Hysterical, I rushed forward and tr

After dropping him off, they moved to board Keith’s private jet to Maui, Hawaii. It was evening by the time the flight landed in Hawaii so everyone checked into the five-star beachfront hotel. Kelsey was exhausted from the flight so Keith offered to carry her into the hotel but she was too embarrassed so she jumped down and decided to walk. Keith grabbed her hand and guided her into the hotel and up to their ultra-lavish Presidential Penthouse suite while Dave and Matthew checked into apartments on the floor just below theirs.

The mixture of fear, sadness, and determination coursed through my veins, fueling my resolve to break free from this toxic situation. He averted his gaze, his eyes darting away from mine, and said in a low voice, “In an hour, Mrs. Kate, the house keeper will be here. She’ll show you the penthouse, and you can take whatever room you want, except for the last room from the left. It’s mine,” he stated firmly before abruptly leaving the room.

*** Three Days Later After spending our short honeymoon, we return to New York. I can never forget those three days. We had a lot of fun, marked every corner of his private island with our love, and spent most of our time lying naked on the beach, losing ourselves in each other’s arms. He also punished me on the beach for climaxing without his permission by tying me in an uncomfortable position for half an hour before finally giving me what I was yearning for.

It was just a matter of three seconds and the finger disappeared. The canister looked like nothing had happened. But those three seconds had his life flashing before his eyes. He had seen the way the fish immediately went for the finger immediately when it landed in the water, not even letting it reach the bottom or the middle of the water body. “That could be you, if you want.” Angelo said with a sinister smirk. “What do you want? Take what you want and leave!” Big Pa yelled at them still trying to sound tough. But he did not know that those two were experienced killers and they could smell his fear from miles away.

"As for the kidnapping incident you mentioned, I've investigated it. Those people have been eliminated and their bodies disposed of near Costa Rola." He reached out and lightly ruffled my hair. "I'll have the driver take you home so you can pack your things. We'll move in together after that. Is that alright?" "Okay," I replied. When I got home, the entire house was silent and deserted. I went upstairs, opened the drawer, and took out the forged abortion report. I placed it with the divorce agreement, then sealed both inside a white gift box with a silver ribbon. This was the final gift I would leave for Enzo.

And that smile only grew wider. “Cassie. Looks like the crocodiles are getting lucky tonight.” The next second— A cold gun barrel pressed directly against my temple. Slowly, I lifted my eyes and looked around the casino one last time. So many people. Yet not a single one…was my family. Don looked at me. His eyes were impossibly deep, unreadable. “Cassie Vaughn.” “You may say your last words now.” I closed my eyes. Then— I smiled.
