Dear Diary, I’ve decided to keep a book recording all my days here at High Hill, should make pleasant reading in the future! Well, let’s start with the basics. I asked myself as I flipped the book. “Dear diary, it’s me again, Valentina, I’m going to write the scholarship examination, wish me some luck!” she drew a smiley face on it and I flipped to the next page. “Dear diary, Mom had her usual panic attack, Ron got so angry and broke my arm I guess this is a gift for passing the exams.” What in God’s name? Who the hell considers a broken arm as a gift? “Dear diary, school isn’t as I expected it, the kids don’t like me either.” I flipped and continued to flip, but there was not a single happy incident in this book.
